Top notch Customer Service.

It stinks that you have to spend 500 rounds to break in a gun to see if it will work reliably. But if it doesn't, they take good care of you. 10 days from my door and back to repair my CDS9. Probably one of the best customer service companies out there.

Not Impressed

I just bought a Kimberr 1911 Custom LW firearm and I am not impressed. I was just swapping grips this morning and found one of the grip nuts crossthreaded and had to use pliers to get it out. The grip nuts are the crappiest quality. I'm struggling replacing grips and that's stupid! I'm going to have to find a tap because the bushing thread holes are screwed up. Did a blind person assemble this gun? I've never had this happen in 30 years of gun ownership. Also the recoil spring plug is the worst I've seen on a 1911. It's painful to install and absurd that it's this difficult to field strip and put back together. This will be the first and last Kimber I buy.

New location new cusotmer service...bad!

I have been purchasing from them since Yonkers NY, back when customer service was surprisingly good. Just got the wrong magazine sent to me and a week later no response on email so I called. Finally got someone who told me sorry, but I have to get them the wrong mag they sent me before they can send me the correct one. WOW. Guess alabama employees are gonna be the difference in how well this company does. I should have gotten the Staccado!

I recently purchases a Kimber 1911…

I recently purchases a Kimber 1911 Rapide Ice .45 ACP and the product is excellent--really well made and very high quality. Equally as important, Kimber's customer service is superb. I called several times with questions about the firearm and accessories and each time customer service, particularly Bruce and Candace were patient, accommodating and answered all my questions to resolve any issues. 100% recommend Kimber!

I have a CDPII and the grips came loose…

I have a CDPII and the grips came loose the first time I shot it. When I tried to retighten the grips, one of the screws was already stripped out. I sent it in to Kimber and they made it right and fixed it. Still having FTF issues and likely need a heavier recoil spring. Only about 500 rounds through this gun. It still needs some work. It's a good shooting gun but I am having a really hard time justifying the price point. I think I can get this gun to run well, but this is my first and last Kimber purchase.
