My heart felt thanx

I would like to give my heart felt thanx, to Amy and her team. I have bought and sold a few properties in my time. However, this latest experience was by far the best I have ever had. Completion, in record time of under two weeks🤠👍
Professional, helpful, and just plain awesome throughout.
Thanx guys it has been a pleasure.

Amy has been superb

Amy has been superb, she really drove the process forward throughout. There wasn't a query she wasn't happy to support with and her communication was timely and regular. I genuinely can't recommend the service she provided enough

I would give this company 0 stars but…

I would give this company 0 stars but it only allows a minimum of 1.

I had dealt with Alex who sold this property under false pretences and acted as though it was so high in demand. He pushed me to make a reservation fee of £2000 when he promised the rent would be £800 which is clear mis selling as the most I could get was £550. After I said I want to pull out, I have been going back and forth with Richard who did absolutely nothing just waiting until 28 days were over so they could keep my £2000.

I am a university student and the money was supposed to be put towards my masters fees. They have taken advantage of a vulnerable person when they knew how distressed I was. They knew this but still dragged the selling of this property on for as long as they could to then tell me, no one wants to buy it and it’s not selling. They obviously knew this property wasn’t in demand to begin with but were quick to take my money anyway. It’s ridiculous trying to even get hold of Richard, they say they care but their actions say otherwise because he knew how distressed I was but didn’t bother to call me back until after a week despite me ringing everyday to get through to him.

I don’t know how they sleep at night and I don’t know how they think this is acceptable. Would not recommend at all!!

Lease to buy scam..

I called up regarding a house in Jesmond, Newcastle priced around £13k.
It was gone but a lad called Alex told me another was available nearby for £14k.
The scam here involves a £14k lease for 6years. At any time the house can be purchased for £105k, and rented out in the meantime.
The pictures of the property didn't match the area, and weren't even consistent. The view from the back kitchen window was different from the view from the garden.
Dodgy in my opinion.
Also, the address they give is for another letting agent in the same building but they don't exist as Kingsland Estates on Companies House.

When I asked for names of directors Alex said he'd call in 5 then blocked me.

Avoid at all costs - SCAM ALERT

I rang about a property that had advertised but after speaking to someone there realised it was a total scam. When i questioned him a bit more he slammed the phone down. Avoid at all costs - SCAM ALERT

Avoid

Avoid, they are collecting customer info to use in somewhere. They said the list has gone but they still leave it there to trap people.

Avoid at all costs!

Avoid at all costs!

Tried to purchase a house listed by them, the whole thing was extremely vague, they took a holding deposit and after the deal fell apart, I had to contact the property redress scheme, who successfully instructed them to provide our deposit back.

Turns out Kingsland is a part of an extremely dodgy group of "fast cash" house purchases, seemingly preying on vulnerable sellers, and selling their houses for full price through Kingsland.

They recently rebranded, but you can find equally shocking reviews under their old business name, just look for google revies for Phoenix Agency oldham.

Do not use, you'll regret it

When my parents passed away we sold their matrimonial home.

Our buyer decided to go with Fast Home Buying Group to sell her house.

To say that it was a nightmare is putting it bluntly.

They tell you that they are going to buy your house for a price and then attempt to flip it for more money through their Estate Agents arm - Kingsland Estates (hence leaving this review as they are extremely connected).

We had instances of them sending documents but by coincidence the recipient email address was always misspelt so no one received them.

We eventually told our buyer that we couldn't proceed with them and put the property back on the market.

It has now sold.

DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE.

I've just checked and the property is still for sale (for £30,000 more than they offered to pay the buyer).

1 Star is genuinely to high for this…

1 Star is genuinely to high for this company. Under the name of Fast Home Buying Group (FHBG), they made an "offer" on my property and led me to believe that the sale was going through normally, even introducing me to a solicitor whom I promptly instructed and completed all the required paper work my end.

The sale was agreed at the price on the condition that completion could be achieved within 4 weeks or as near to as possible. As the proposed completion day approached and I had not heard anything from either FHBG or the solicitor they had recommended, I called to enquire as to where things we're up to and was given a load of indirect politician style answers, which prompted me to contact the solicitor who informed me that she hadn't received any correspondence at all from Kingsland Estate or FHGB since the initial introduction. After several phone calls back and forth with the company, I was eventually passed on to a "Director" Stephen, who besides being incredibly obnoxious, did nothing to reassure me that FHBG were legitimate after confirming that should all of the due diligence comes back ok that the cash purchases could be facilitated rapidly, only to then slip up and inform me that they had advertised the property for sale through their sister company Kingsland Estates. It became clear that this was essentially an expensive estate agent service at best that would cash in on those desperate for a speedy sale whilst not actually being able to provide a speedy sale, relying on the vendor to be to far invested in the process to withdraw when the initial terms weren't met.

There is a core of deceptiveness running through this business akin to that of a dodgy car salesmen, avoid at all costs.
