Terrible ! Book it if you want to miss your flight!



We had booked a cab two days in advance for 24th May at 11:45 AM for 6 passengers. Given that we were travelling with two young children and two elderly grandparents, we specifically booked ahead to avoid any last-minute issues.

However 9 mins before the time on the day of travel, I received a call from a staff member.

Firstly, we were told that because we had selected “6 passengers,” this apparently included the driver, and therefore no suitable vehicle had been arranged. We were informed that we should have selected a 7-seater instead. This led to around 8 minutes of unnecessary back-and-forth discussion before your staff member finally accepted how unreasonable this interpretation was.

Secondly, we were then informed that the assigned driver had actually cancelled one hour earlier and that your company had been unsuccessfully trying to find another vehicle during that time. What is most frustrating is that nobody informed us immediately when the cancellation happened. Had we been notified earlier we would have had enough time to arrange alternative transport calmly. Instead, we were informed only minutes before the booking time, leaving us in an extremely stressful situation while trying to catch a flight.

Booked an airport taxi 2 days in advance. Rang just beforehand saying they could not find a driver and they then cancelled the booking. Very stressful. Also 10 days to refund your money. Haven't got it back yet

Terrible Service

I booked a cab to take me to St Pancras on the day before I needed to go and payment was taken immediately. It was due to pick me up at 7:05am. I received a call at 7:00am to say they did not have a cab available. I was left trying to find a cab in time for me to catch my train. The booking should not have been accepted if they could not guarantee a cab being available, and to leave it until 5 minutes before it was due is disgusting. Payment was taken straight away but refund has taken 8 days. I would never consider using Kingston Cars again.

Absolutely shocking taxi business!!!

Absolutely shocking taxi business!
I have used this company 4 times (3 out of 4 times was a terrible experience!)

1st time the phone operator told me taxi was 10-15 mins away. My taxi arrived 1hr later. Everytime I called the phone operator would tell me he is 10mins away!
I already paid online so I had no choice but to wait.

2nd time was OK but was later than told.

3rd time- I called up again as I thought was a one off bad experience with the first experience.
However, this was even worse - I called them 1 hour before paid online and the operator told me again driver 10mins away .... turns out they had not even assigned a driver! I waited 1.5hrs!
I asked for a refund and they refused told me it wasn't possible!

The DRIVERS ARE LOVELY AND FRIENDLY!!
ITS THE PHONE OPERATORS AND MANAGEMENT TEAM ON THE PHONES WHO LIE, TAKE YOUR MONEY, AND MAKE YOU WAIT - TELL YOU THE DRIVER ON THE WAY WHEN HE IS NOT!!

DISGRACEFUL COMPANY! DONT USE THEM!

The driver was not at the arrival.

The driver was not at the arrival.. instead we had to look for him at the car park. Parkish was rude and pointed out that we are already paying less than we should.. We recommended to drive via M4 but instead he said that it is out of his way and drove slowly stopping at 18 traffic lights..

Car is falling apart

I purchased a Toyota Aygo from Kingston Cars in December 2021. Everything seemed okay at first but since (3 1/2 months) I have had to replace the battery, fan belt, have the hazard lights fixed as they did not work, the exhaust had rusted so badly that the back of it fell off, that had to be replaced. I made it clear that this vehicle was for my 18 year old daughter, a first car for her, I just expected a little more. Scam artists!!!!

Rude operator!!!!! Such a shame love kac

I use this cab service often and there drivers are excellent....it was the phone operater who let this usually excellent taxi service down...so I ordered my cab to lidl and waited the 15 minuets which was fine as I was told it would take that long,I received the txt to say the taxi was outside but the taxi wasn't there. When the driver called we discovered he was outside aldi not lidl, slightly annoying but not the end of the world so he made his way to lidl. I called the operator back to let him know what happened....when he answered I explained what happened then went on to say that I had spoken to the driver and he was on his way to me,but before I actually got to the second part he rudely cut me off he said that he would need to change it on the system and when he finished I started to finish my original sentence but he cut me of again he was speaking rudely so I said will you just let me speak your being very rude his response was no I'm not your making something out of nothing I said I wasn't that I was trying to say something and you keep cutting me off again he said he wasn't and that I was making something out of nothing I tried to respond he cut me of and carried on talking. I'd had enough at this point so I told him to cancel the Cab and informed him I would be making a complaint to rag his response was you can complain to rag Ali or the prime minister I don't care you caused this making some thing into nothing I again told to cancel my cab and hung up. I ordered a uber then 3 minuets later the cab from kac turned up....I apologized to the cab and got in my uber freezing and annoyed
