Have some proportions

I think as far as it comes to streaming online KissAnime are tolerable.
Yes, they have quite a few pop ups but I assume they have to in order to keep the site running.
And yes you should have an antivirus installed before you go to their website as you should do for every website.

But if I'm looking for any anime - they are the most likely to have it. HQ most of the time and usually in Japanese, which is what I like the most.

KissAnime was once amazing

KissAnime was once amazing but in the recent time it has went downhill hard. Now there are lots of popups add ons ads and viruses. Many many redirects, and buffering no matter how high speed of internet you have. It's amazing for watching anime on a timely fashion, but having to go through 10 things to be able to watch one episode has gotten crazy. Thry NEED to fix it!

All the Anime is RIGHT HERE

All the Anime is RIGHT HERE! It doesn't matter what it is, or what style, new and old, movie or episode. It's right here! Not to mention that it helps you to find new anime's basing them off of the categories that you choose, selecting one at random, so you don't have to decide. The thing is, Kissanime has a few problems with this weird VIRUS ALERT! It suddenly pops up and says "You're computer has informed us that your computer may be infected with a virus." But what's really weird is that you can just exit out of the window, no problem. No computer delays, or funny stuff, and it doesn't seem to affect you the rest of the time. I've been using Kissanime for two years and there's still nothing wrong with my computer. Kissanime does get under attack an awful lot, so it has these mini-games to verify that you're human. Another issue I have with kissanime is that you can't reset your own password! It gives you this really weird one with numbers and codes that you can't possibly remember. I just wish we could set our own password, because I haven't used the account I wanted to use in a long time.

The website was amazing some time ago

The website was amazing some time ago. Now it's a host of aggressive ads. It's enough to click anywhere on the screen and you get a pop-up. As well extremely long loading times (my internet speed is 300mbs), buggy video player which crashes 2 episodes makes KissAnime unacceptable for pleasant viewing experience.

Shallow Rules, No Modesty Whatsoever

They flagged/reported my commentary on their website because they (or some mod who doesn't know how to mod) considered it "spam", when clearly, it was not. Spam is spam. Not commentary. Anywho, I messaged them on their only means of communication (Facebook; very unprofessional) twice, and received no response, albeit they read my messages. Such unacceptable treatment from a so-called service.
Not to mention that they force you to remove ad-block to their convenience, and my inconvenience. Most often their players don't work either. Very bad website. I prefer gogoanime or Crunchyroll.
And lastly, they are not helping the artists who need to make profits out of these anime. No help to artists, no help to Customers = bad bad host.

Great site, but back for the people

A great site that provides anime to others who don't have enough to purchase the content. However this is bad for the anime industries. It don't help the artists or animators when the products aren't being paid for.

Used to be a top-notch site for animes, but finally fell to the temptation of money by putting way too much ads on its site

Kissanime used to be my favorite player (up to 2016) since its players were really comfortable to handle, the videos were of the highest quality available and the ads weren't annoying.

Unfortunately, kissanime changed its players which aren't that comfortable to handle anymore, but still acceptable.
What pains me more are the advertisements and the questions to prove that you're human.
Due to an assault on that website, it's understandable to demand from its users to prove that they're human. But I really have no sympathy if they do that before every single video. It's just too annoying and time-consuming to click 2 pictures every time, especially when your connection isn't the best.

And the worst thing is how they handle the ads. In addition to these questions, they not only put spaces for ads which can be closed one by one manually (if it's only this, I'd have no issues with them), but every 10 minute a new site with ads opens when you click anywhere on kissanime and before you can watch a video you have to click it 2-3 times which opens new sites with ads and then close them. Since I use some of the players currently used on kissanime also on other sites, I know that most ads aren't from the players themselves, but only from kissanime.

It's abhorrent and offending how much that site demands its users. That's the reason why I pretty much quit watching videos on kissanime and if not for the still very large community (in the comment section) which had grown so big due to its "golden years" (prior to 2017), I'd have left them for good.
