All good until it stops working!

All good until something is faulty and you have to deal with their customer support. We sent an enquiry about the fault, explaining all the steps we took to try to rectify the issue. They asked us to send a video, which we promptly did. They sent a stock-standard response with steps to repair the machine ourselves, clearly not bothering to read what we’d already said in our initial enquiry. After requiring multiple follow-ups, they finally admitted that the machine needed professional repairing - which should have been obvious from the start, given the machine was flashing all warning lights immediately after being turned on. Then no Kitchenaid communication about whether the machine was received or not, we just had to follow the tracking number ourselves. After about a month of no communication, we followed up Kitchenaid again and were told they can’t help, as they don’t communicate with the repair company. So basically they can hold your paid-for items indefinitely without any updates or expected timeframes. You will just get it back when they see fit - more like months as it is certainly not weeks. At this point we should have just bought a new machine from a different brand.

Terrible blender, worse customer service

Bought a blender ($400+) online direct from KitchenAid - had already bought a stand mixer and accessories.

The blender jug cracked and the entire unit is now useless. Customer service is a joke - designed not to help you, but to make it difficult and frustrating to get basic information to them.

Over priced, fragile and over-hyped products, dreadful customer service. Will never buy a product from them again.

The KitchenAid Anti-Fatigue Floor Mat…

The KitchenAid Anti-Fatigue Floor Mat is very comfortable to stand on, especially when spending longer periods of time in the kitchen. It definitely helps reduce pressure on the feet and makes cooking or washing dishes more comfortable.

However, I found it quite difficult to keep clean. The surface has many grooves, which tend to trap dust, crumbs, and small particles. Even after wiping it down, the dirt doesn’t come off easily because it gets stuck in those grooves. If you have a dark-colored mat, this becomes even more noticeable and it can start to look dirty very quickly.

Overall, it’s comfortable and supportive, but the design makes maintenance harder than expected. If easy cleaning is important to you, this is something to consider before buying.

They honestly don’t deserve any stars but that’s not an option here!
I purchased a KitchenAid stand mixer specifically because it was advertised on KitchenAid’s official website as having the black classic KitchenAid logo. The product I received did not match the listing — it had a metal band and metal logo instead, which was not what was advertised.
Because the product did not match the description, I returned it. KitchenAid received the return over a month ago, yet I am still waiting for my refund. This delay is unacceptable, especially when the issue was caused by misleading product information on their end.
I expected better accuracy and customer service from a brand like KitchenAid. While mistakes can happen, holding a customer’s money for this long after a return has been received is beyond disappointing.

Highly suspicious and deceiving return process (if you eventually get that far)

I purchased an item from them last week, and we wish to return it in the original packaging still sealed.

Upon logging in to my account, orders, “return items”, away I go.

The only problem is that when it asks me for my email, the email box is already populated with my partially correct email, although displays a few wrong characters such as the % sign.

Whilst I would think all good, I highlight it with the mouse cursor and attempt to delete it. This operation does not work. My incorrect email that is populated in the box is fixed and locked.

Hence when I continue, it returns a “this email is not recognized”.

This is highly suspicious and deceiving to the public, no doubt in order to detract users from continuing to return.

I tried their chat but of course, no option for refund help or order numbers from their auto robot chatter.

Their emails to users and website has a massive amount of tracking and they are heavily into advertising.

I will now pursue this with vigor and steer clear from them in the future.

Finally made the switch

I switched to the kitchenaid artisan 4.8L after years with a wobbly old mixer, and youll feel the difference straight away. It is steadier and kinder on the ears than what I had before, yet powerful enough to knead my big sourdough batches without walking across the bench, and the stainless bowl cleans up so easily. You will love how versatile it is with the pasta roller and food grinder, which makes weeknight cooking feel a little special and very very doable. I chose Pistachio and it looks tender and cheerful in my small kitchen, still tucking neatly under the cupboards, and delivery to my place in Australia was smooth with the box handled carefully. After a month the meringues are loftier, the crumb is more consistent, and knowing parts and service are easy to get here gives me a comforting sense of longevity.

Great coffee but not hot enough

The purchasing of my coffee machine kf8 was extremely simple and delivery was fast
The machine is extremely simple to operate and makes great coffee however the temperature needs to be looked at as it's not hot enough when milk is used which is a shame as my wife and I like latte

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE of this company

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE of this company. Their return policy and refund process is so long winded that they prefer to frustrate the hell out of a customer, rather than simply do the right thing. Return labels that don't work, waiting times that inconvenience the buyer and overall a sh*t experience.
Don't do it. There are other brands out there.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service ever. I cannot find words to describe the total absence of customer support from Kitchenaid.
Thankfully, the particular product in this instance is only some measuring cups that have all cracked with little use and no abuse.
I rang the customer support line, who gave me the email address to write to (customercare[at]greenpan.com.au) - 'The Cookware Company'.
I got an automated acknowledgement to say they got my email and never any further response or contact. I followed up several times with the same result.
I contacted one of the other 'customer service' addresses who told me to contact the same place and when I explained that I had no response the suggested another. I eventually got someone to reply who sought further details and then never replied to me again (customercareeu[at]lifetimebrands.com).
This has gone on for many months now and I've got nothing.
Thankfully my expensive Kitchenaid products have not broken down, but I fear the day they do.

Ordered an ice cream bowl rejected by Kitchen Aid

Ordered an ice cream bowl and accessories via Amazon. Amazon because I was given a gift card. 4 months after receiving it the bowl leaked blue fluid from a crack on the base. Contacted Kitchen Aid who dismissed me very rudely because I had not bought it from them.
Never ever buy anything from Kitchen Aid. You are not treated like a customer should be.

Woeful customer service

Wife ordered an appliance in mid December. Subsequently received an advice that it was given to Aust Post on 27 December. She rang Kitchenaid on 16 January (on hold for 40 minutes!) to advise no item received. Customer Service advised that it will be monitored and if they see that it is not received here by 19 January they will despatch another appliance. It is now 25 January - NO APPLIANCE, NO COMMUNICATION FROM KITCHENAID - REALLY POOR SERVICE!! She has rung them 3 times - got a different person and a different story each time.

Bad customer service and sent to wrong…

Bad customer service and sent to wrong address when it finally did get sent
I called twice to find out where my order was, had to wait over an hour on the phone for the lady to say ‘I don’t work in that department’ to me asking if she can work out where it is after 3 and a half weeks of waiting. She was rude and rather unhelpful.

Worst customer experience.

Worst customer experience.
Ordered a kitchen aid and it went to the wrong address. After 2 emails and one attempt to contact them on instagram, there has been no response, still to date in December.
Apparently the incorrect delivery was due to the implementation of a new system. I don’t blame the customer service staff, as they would have been inundated with complaints, I blame executive management for implementing a system without testing it correctly. Ridiculous!

Worst customer service ever. They don’t care about customer at all. They took my product a month ago and I'm still waiting for my money back. I can't get in touch with anyone to ask why this is so. They simply stole my money. Don’t buy from them !!! They deserve zero star.

KitchenAid food processor purchase experience

I ordered a food processor from kitchenaid.com.au (the 13 cup food processor, kfp1319).

During the order process I was informed that it would be delayed 1-3 business days but they posted express and it came through fine.

Support was exceptional as well. During my call to get some issues sorted I noticed in my account (shopping through shopping.com and directly on website was mixed up) the support personnel was courteous, helpful and effective.

Looking forward to shop again in future at KitchenAid Australia.

DELIVERS TO WRONG ADDRESS AND DOESNT REPLY

I bought a couple items fm KA online for a housewarming present for a friend. KA delivered it to the billing address (which is under my account - my address) and not to the shipping address (friend’s address). Had to deliver them myself as KA doesnt reply at all, lucky my friend is in the same state, although it was still quite a drive for me. I used to do this & KA had never issues like this. Kitchen warehouse or other stores even sell cheaper KA items that wont have any issues with delivery/ returns.

It’s been over 2 weeks and our order…

It’s been over 2 weeks and our order has not arrived, KitchenAid provided a tracking number that does not exist and say it has been delivered. They won’t answer their phones, email, Facebook. I am going to have to contact my bank to get my money back.

I am incredibly frustrated with the…

I am incredibly frustrated with the service I have received from KitchenAid after purchasing the Artisan Kettle and 2-slice toaster to complement our dream kitchen. Initially, I was thrilled with the bundle deal and the products looked beautiful upon arrival. However, our excitement turned into disappointment when we realized that the right-hand slice of the toaster was not toasting one side of the bread.

Upon contacting the workshop number provided, I was informed that the toaster was within the warranty period, and they would replace it without any hassle. But my experience took a nosedive when I reached the customer care number. The person who attended to me seemed disinterested and stated that I had to send the faulty toaster back and then reorder a new one. This was problematic because the bundle deal I originally got was an excellent offer, and reordering the toaster separately would cost me more.

After much back-and-forth with different representatives, I was told that they could offer me a 20% discount on a new toaster purchase. Reluctantly, I agreed, but even with the discount, I was still out of pocket. When I attempted to get this sorted with the assistance of another representative, I faced even more frustration. She made an error with the return label, which listed my address as the delivery address. When I brought this up, she failed to provide any real solution, and it felt like I was going in circles.

The lack of options and the inability to speak to a manager added to my frustration. I tried to escalate the issue, but apparently, there were no managers available, and the team coach was only accessible online. Despite requesting a callback, I never received one.

When I returned to the workshop team, they seemed uninterested in addressing the issue and suggested that the problem might not even be a fault but a design flaw. To add insult to injury, they indicated that no recall or rectification would take place.

At this point, I feel like my only option is to send back both the kettle and toaster, which is a major inconvenience, considering there's nothing wrong with the kettle. All I wanted was a working toaster, and I'm disappointed that KitchenAid refuses to address this issue properly.

This experience has left me with a sour taste, and I'm not inclined to repurchase from KitchenAid or recommend their products to others. I had hoped for a straightforward resolution, but it seems like KitchenAid has decided that I should be content with only one side of toast toasted.

Mutton dressed as Lamb

This mixer replaced a Kenwood. It worked for 10 years, cost half the price and had a bigger bowl. I used the Kitchenaid only a handful of times and the gears broke during dough mixing on setting 4. Returned to store for a new one, but Kitchenaid wanted to fix it. Clearly a dud as it broke so quickly. Just got it back after nearly 2 months of shenanigans and it broke again first use on setting 4. The great thing is I got it on video because it was making a terrible sound on setting 1. The repairer told me this happens a lot. There is a sacrificial plastic gear that breaks to prevent damage to the motor. He said you should mix you dough a little at a time and let the mixer cool after them minutes of use to stop it breaking. Funny they don't put that in the instruction manual. Anyway, it only lasted 5 minutes this time. Interestingly, the repairer had about 10 kitchenmaid stand mixers behind the counter all waiting for repair. Sounds like a QA or engineering problem. I've asked for a replacement or a refund, but that doesn't take into account all the time I've wasted trying to fix this problem and driving all over the city to pick-up and drop-off this precious little mixer.
