False advertising
False advertising, not sure how it’s legal. They used AI in their ad to make their cat toy actually look like a flying bird, but it just slowly moves its wings on the ground or on a string hahahah

Didn't realize product would ship from China. When I finally received it, I thought I had purchased three toys with a battery, but the extra two birds were the usual cheap stuffed cat toy.
Anyway, it wouldn't fully charge when I plugged it in. The red light would just shut off instead of changing to green, and I couldn't get it to work on a partial charge. I tried taking it apart and it did start to chirp & flap, but the on-off switch (very tiny) didn't seem to have any control of it. I gave up trying to get it to work and contacted the company three times (by replying to the original order email and the form on the website) trying to get a response. It's been a week and I've had no response. I guess I just learned a $36 lesson. I shouldn't have believed the guarantee on the website.
The ad showed the large bird flying on its own. it doesn't, it just flaps and squeaks on the floor! the buy 1 get 1 free is wrong as it includes 2 small hanging toys.
Absolute rubbish for £30.
I have emailed and sent a contact form per the refunds instructions but have been totally ignored.
What a terrible disappointment & frustrating experience.
The advertising for Wingmates Flying Bird is a total misrepresentation. These birds, which when received, are not the same as advertised. The color isn’t even close.
These birds have to hang from a cord to fly. The larger bird - which you can buy from Amazon for $18Cdn + HST, flaps, the other 2 birds received do not.
None of them fly even though the advertising shows someone sitting with a hand control - it’s not true.
A terrible rip off. I’ve reported to Mastercard & written to Kitty Collective as a not happy customer at all.
Stay away from this company. I wouldn't trust them. Why do vendors try to misrepresent & fool you to make money? They would make more money with honesty & good quality products. Vendors like this give online shopping a bad name.
