If I could give zero stars I would, Bought an under counter wine cooler that wouldn’t fit under a counter. Asked for a return and it took multiple threats with trading standards to come and collect, they collected after 3 weeks of daily emails as there is NO TELEPHONE NUMBER to call!! Finally picked it up then I have had to send daily emails till I finally received my refund 3 weeks after pick up. PLEASE DON’T BUY FROM THESE FRAUDSTERS..

Got a fermentation barrel for present 2 years ago. Just used it this year for the first time. I acknowledged that one of the lid clamps worked not well. It was too loose. I did not have a bill anymore because of a present. I explained this all with a photo included. But they could not help because there was no order bill, they said. No coulance or what so ever. Bad service and quality of Klarstein.

Done nothing but mess me around sent the wrong fridge that looks nothing like the picture emailed them multiple times all i get is pre written responses finally they arrange dx to collect it without letting me know they took the fridge on Tuesday and are still saying they haven’t received the fridge so I can’t get my refund klarstein have done nothing but try to mess me around and refuse to give me my refund i took a picture of the fridge before it left i have video evidence of the fridge being taken away by dx delivery they scanned the box I ordered the fridge from Amazon sold by klarstein wish I never ordered from them avoid save yourself trouble don’t order from these worst mistake if you do 8008138223

Replacement unit delivery problems...
I ordered a winecooler at Klarstein. Sadly when it arrived it was broke. So i returned it. This was about a month ago. Klarstein said they would ship me a new one as soon as they received the broken one. That was 3 weeks ago.... sadly the replacement has still not arrived... I'm starting to get affraid that they will never send the replacement unit...

Beer XXL fridge for the trash
The fridge looked great and worked really good in the beginning, but honestly the quality is pretty bad for the price. It stoped working properly literally one week before the warranty expired. I reported the problem and the repair took more then a month which is honestly way too long for such expensive product.
After the repair it worked maybe 2 more months and then the problems started again. First the display died and now less then half a year later the fridge completely stopped working.
I have it around 3 years total and honestly I would not recomend it to anyone. For this kind of money I expected way more, the price/quality ratio is really not good in my opinion.

bought ice cream machine for 13 yr old…
bought ice cream machine for 13 yr old daughter and less than 5 months later it is not working. 2 yr warranty i thought great but getting thru to someone is impossible as i have spent over a fortnight trying by ringing 02033183951 and never connects. downloaded the app and no advisors available, on website in terms it says to use chatbot and you get speaking to someone (no chatbot to be found) so sell aproduct and no on website is non inbound and no other way to contact you to claim on a warranty.

Defective product received — replacement promised but never delivered
I purchased a Skal 5L machine in April 2026 which arrived with a broken CO2 tube connection, making it completely non-functional and unsafe to use.
I contacted customer support on 1 May. An agent confirmed in writing that free replacement labels would be sent within 1-3 business days. That deadline passed with no labels and no replacement sent.
Since then I have sent multiple follow-up emails to both the customer support team and the Berlin headquarters directly. The only responses I received were that my request was being 'forwarded to the labels team' — with no date, no commitment and no resolution.
It has now been 13 days since the written promise of replacement. I have a broken machine I cannot use, paid €143.49, and the company continues to ignore its own written commitments.
Extremely disappointing experience. I expected far better from a brand of this size.

Missing items no reply and still waiting
My cooker hood came without the charcoal filters. There were 2 tracking numbers,I belive both were for the same item though and the filters were never sent. DPD delivered and showd a photo of the same delivered item. I've tried contacting this company 3 times via their enquiry form. I've been trying to resolve the matter but recived no reply at all. No filters, no refund and no reply,and no way other way of contacting them.

Poor quality and even worse customer service
I bought this unit specifically for the 68-litre capacity, compact dimensions and the advertised 35 db level, but it has been a massive disappointment from the start.
Technical Failure
The "silent" operation was short-lived. Within just a few days of first use, the fan developed a persistent, intrusive noise. It is far beyond a standard hum—it’s a mechanical rattling that makes it impossible to use.
Frustrating Support Experience
The customer service process is a bureaucratic loop designed to go nowhere. You are forced to deal with an AI bot initially, which makes getting any real help nearly impossible. I finally managed to navigate the system to book a scheduled call, which I did receive, but it was a total waste of time. Despite the verbal assurances I was given during the call, no action was ever taken. Assurances to arrange a collection and provide a returns label have not materialised.
Forced Escalation
I grew tired of the empty apologies and broken commitments. I’ve had to involve my credit card company just to force them to collect this defective unit and get my money back.
Bottom Line: A product is only as good as the support behind it. The Matterhorn 68 might look nice, but between the immediate mechanical failure and the unreliable, AI-guarded support team, it’s simply not worth the risk. Buy something else and avoid Klarstein.

Cooker hood received - damaged
I ordered a retro-style cooker hood. It arrived promptly, however it was damaged due to poor packing. I tried to call the Klarstein (UK) number but the number is out of use. I e-mailed Klarstein UK and was allocated a ticket number (8008108349) but am yet to receive a reply. UPDATE: I was subsequently contacted by Klarstein customer services in Germany who promptly arranged for the damaged item to be returned and despatched a replacement (which arrived within a week). After my initial difficulties in contacting UK customer services, the service from Germany was excellent. New cooker hood is now installed and I’m very happy with it.
