Beware costly contract tie in
We used Klevu for search on our ecommerce store for a period but due to repeated subscription hikes it was no longer good value for money. We cancelled and switched to Algolia which provided the same service for a third of the price. Many months later we receive a debt collection notice for several thousand dollars which Klevu claim is due to the remaining 12 months on our contract, despite the contract stating "12 months" and nothing to say it was a rolling contract. They claim the information is in the t&cs, which is a sneaky way of tying in unsuspecting customers, with no get out clause for price increases or drops in service level. Avoid Klevu - there are better companies out there doing the same thing and which offer a standard 30-day cancellation clause.
