I'm usually wary of recruiters, but working with Mike and Kofi Group was an awesome experience. Few recruiters have that combination of technical knowledge, insight, and energy that he brought to the table. They're genuinely interested in making sure the job is the right fit for you, and not just treating you like a commission. I'd recommend them to anyone!

Ryan McClernon did a great job landing me my new position. Very easy to work with and always available during the entire process.

I worked with George, a recruiter for Kofi Group, and it was an excellent experience. He worked with me to prepare for the interview, and helped set up a time with that worked in both the company’s and in my schedule. I had a few follow up questions that, and he helped me set up a follow up discussion with the company to get them answered. He was extremely responsive and helpful. I would recommend him for anyone looking for a new and interesting position.

I worked with Robert for a few months trying to find a good company for me to fit in. I did not receive any offers, but I made it pretty far in the two interview processes that I had through his group. The coaching Robert and his group provided was very valuable to me, and I'll be using the things I learned while working with him for the rest of my career. Kofi Group is a great recruiting company, and I would recommend them to anyone.

We asked, and George delivered! We were in need of a .net programmer. Within days, he was sending me resumes of people that he had pre-vetted and tested for me - not just anyone who had submitted a resume. He scheduled all of the interviews in one day and I met with all of the candidates and hired one of them on the spot. She turned out to be one of our favorite team members!

Then, we called upon George again a few years later for a sys admin. Same deal, George vetted, and I interviewed. We asked him some hard and pointed questions. He interviewed very well. We hired him for a remote position. About 3 days later, I realized that he only interviewed well and wasn't going to be a good fit. I called George. Not only did George make it right, he went above and beyond the call on this one. He went to the new hire's home and collected all of our company equipment back from him so I didn't have to worry about a thing.

I am sometimes wary of dealing with recruiters, because many of them only care about the placement and nothing else.

However, I was very impressed with the professionalism Kofi Group showed in speaking with me about my career goals, and what I was looking for in my next position. The conversations were always polite, and never pushy or intimidating.

It did take a little while, but when they finally called back, the position they informed me about was almost exactly what I was looking for!

I went on one interview, and the job offer came days afterwards. They even offered career advice after they placed me.

This recruiting agency goes above and beyond for both the client and the candidate, which is a rare find these days. I am extremely happy to have worked with them, and would not hesitate to do so again!

While I was not extended an offer, I quickly realized having the opportunity to work with George Atuahene was the long game here !

George is by far the most polite and knowledgeable recruiter I've worked with in a long time.

He went to great lengths to prepare me for both telephone and face-to-face interviews.

In the end, I agree with the hiring manager's decision that I was not the most qualified candidate for the position.

It's critical each new hire matches the job description and skills closely requested because, in any non-management tech job, hard skills are all that matter.

If the hiring manager was having a bad day and made a bad read and hired you, or if you were BS'ing about your skills or ability to apply them, in a tech job you'll be smoked out and dispatched within one week by any competent manager.

I spoke with George after each interview, gave him feedback about the company, each person I interviewed with, and how I rated my skill set versus what I think thought the company was looking for.

Writing functional specifications are important to me, but for this company, for reasons that are none of my business, I was told they didn’t write specifications as other priorities ranked higher.

Myself ? I must have a measure of where the finish line is if I'm working towards a stated goal regardless of how many times the finish line is moved. I think it demonstrates organization and discipline.

Interviewing is a dialog, not a monolog, and George was genuinely interested in what I had to say each time we spoke.

He was always patient, polite, and worked harder than any recruiter in recent memory to provide suggestions, advice, and potential interview questions based on similar job positions he had filled at other companies in the past.

Worked with George from the Houston office. George is very professional and knows the position, company, and industry well (yay!). It makes a difference when a recruiter actually understands the hiring manager and is able to answer most questions. George is a straight shooter and says it the way it is - no guessing here! :) Besides job description and scheduling interviews he also provides pointers for preparing the interview. Nothing extraordinary (lest you don't know how to prep an interview) but a helpful reminder none the less. In short, George is there every step of the way to support and a pleasure to work with. Based on other interactions I observed I'd say the Kofi Group is a great crew and highly recommended!
