The concept and overall design of the Kompact9 thrower is excellent compact, portable, and very convenient to carry, especially compared to full-size throwers. The retractable feature works well and the idea behind it is genuinely innovative. However, in our experience, durability has been an issue. We’ve had to replace the product twice within the last year due to the head snapping off during normal use. While the functionality is great, the build quality particularly at the head could be improved to better withstand regular use.

Ordered second ball bag as we use two balls and impressed that someone has thought about how they usually end up!
Excellent product and we use ours everyday. Good to be able to put it in my pocket to carry leaving hands free

Great idea for a product but like another has commented, I expected the telescopic idea to allow the stick to extend section by section instead of slipping into full length mode the minute it's out of your pocket. I thought I had bought an odd one that was broken but apparently it's meant to be like that. Shame. The fact it does retract to a short stick is still helpful as I have back, shoulder and arm pain and I find it better than the standard thrower to use. It's robust. PLEASE introduce one that you can adjust the telescopic handle on securely; would be so much better.

It arrived on time. We were kept notified of when to expect it and the product is great.

The parcel was only found by accident. The delivery company you used just threw the parcel over one of the house gates. It was only by chance we found it, sodden through. It was meant to be a gift, it’s now on top of a radiator trying to dry out the box.

Exactly as advertised - arrived very quickly and looks strong and efficient.

We'd been thinking for a long time how great it would be to have a collapsible, pocket/bag-able ball launcher... so as soon as we saw this we bought one. It's the only launcher we've ever used since. Being used to more flexible, springy launchers we did wonder whether this would be as effective but it really is. The only thing to be careful of is to try and keep sand out of it as much as you can (we use ours a lot at the beach!), as sand and grit don't do it any good. Having said that I don't know how you'd design anything better to withstand this, so right now this is the best there is. Oh, and lovely helpful people to deal with too!

It is always nice to support a UK company using recycled materials - although for this product I feel that the pricing may have to be adjusted downwards to generate more business

Best ball thrower I have ever bought my dog wants to play all the time now I can reduce the size and put it in my pocket.

This is the second one purchased. Really good saves your fingers being covered in doggy slob.

Seen the item at crufts great explanation of benefits, didn’t buy it and regretted it so came home and ordered on line that evening delivered securely the next day. Brilliant

These people set the benchmark for customer service - absolutely second to none. I had a problem with mine and they are replacing it immediately. Every dog owner who sees me using my Kompact9 retractable ball thrower asks where they can get one.

The kompact9 is fantastic. I love how light weight it is and how well it launched the ball. Best of all it fits in my bag or pocket and stood my dog getting over excited by seeing the ball thrower before we get to the park.

Because of the nature of this product, sometimes it can get jammed at the joints. I spoke to their team and they sent out a replacement quickly. Great experience 😊

This is the second one I have had (I left the other one somewhere) it’s brilliant, fits into a large pocket and has a good throwing distance.
