They deserve a negative rating

If I could give them a negative number, I would. I had a gaming PC built by them in 2019, which arrived literally in shambles - all the internal components were crooked, bent or scratched. I had it sent back for repairs TWICE, both times of which they failed to fix the issues. They refused a refund. I've had various complex issues since then, so I've essentially spent my time with this computer putting out fires.

I finally came into some money and sent it for repair at a local repairshop and they are in absolute shock over the state of the PC. They confirmed I'd essentially need a new computer built since it's been so abused.

With this in mind it's clear that the people who work at Komplett are amateurs at best and scammers at worst. Do not buy a service from them.

I honestly wouldn't even give them a full star if I could...
This company is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Their support persons are nice, but the sheer amount of issues I have had... I bought a PC from them, and it was broken when it arrived. Things like that can happen, absolutely. But then it takes them about half a month to figure out that I need to send it in to them, I do and then it takes them a month to even start looking at my PC. When they have, they realize it's broken beyond repair and request that I "buy a new one" as they don't have spare parts available. Said and done, we agree on a replacement PC but since this is a "new pc", I have no priority (despite that the PC I bought was a replacement for the broken one). So it takes them an additional month to ship the PC to me. This new PC lasts for 11 months until the GPU starts breaking down, I reach out to them in the beginning of November and send them ALL test data that proves the GPU is broken as well, and the PC is shipped and according to my delivery app, it has arrived at the end of November. Now, over a month later they haven't even looked at my PC and claims that it hasn't arrived until the beginning of December because they need to send it from the address I was given to a second location (Which, according to when they claim it arrived, is 14 days after I have sent it from my location).
The sheer amount of waiting time I have had both with the old PC, the replacement PC that couldn't be prioritized and the new PC as well as that BOTH PC's has been broken is just ridiculous. I am never buying anything from them ever again and I have told everyone I know to never buy anything from them ever!

Price fraud

First price: 18499sek (Black Friday)
First week's price(until 22/11/2025): 17600sek (without Windows 11)
Price now (24/11/2025):17900(without Windows 11)
Customer fraud attempt= illegal.
Couldn't make a purchase there since they don't accept international cards- thank God it didn't work, otherwise I'd either paid 1000sek for a Windows11, or I'd get scammed out of 300sek. I bought the exact same PC, with the exact same specs for 15k sek and I'm very happy. Avoid that company. The negative reviews are valid. The price fraud should be a reason to sue this company.

don't order from komplett.se

The customer service is everything except professional, and the help to make a return is a joke. And the payment back take more than 4 weeks. Thats not ok, all other online stores pay back within 3-5 business days. Stay away!

Horrible experience. Stay away.

Please do yourselves a favour and stay away from them. I bought a 22K SEK computer from them and it's been nothing but trouble for 3 months now. First they delayed my order without notice for 3 weeks because the chassis was not in stock. Then my brand new computer started switching itself off all the time and the PSU started making strange sounds. I sent it to them for repairs. It turns out their technicians are in Norway (!). It took them a week to receive my computer and now they're saying it will take another 3 weeks to repair - plus of course another week to get it sent back from Norway. All in all, that's a total of 8 weeks without having a computer I just bought.

I asked them to just give me a refund due to all of the problems I've had so I can buy a computer elsewhere, and they said they can't do that because their "60 days refund policy has passed" -- as if it's my problem that the hardware was faulty and their service is trash.

Learn from my misfortune and avoid them. Buy from one of the other well-known brands in Sweden. I don't even have to name them, you know who they are. They're not Komplett.

They used to be good a long time ago

I recently decided to build a new workstation for my home office & after choosing the parts I wanted I checked price comparisons. Turned out that Komplett was the cheapest by far for the motherboard and I decided to go with them for that specific part. I only had good experiences from them in the past & thought nothing of checking review sites before my purchase.

Long story short the motherboard arrives & it has been shipped with zero packing materials in a large box. Opening the shipping box I noticed that the motherboard box inside was completely open. Because the product had been shipped with no packing materials in a oversized box it had free room to bounce around or maybe it had been previously opened.

I contacted Komplett about this not to happy since this was a very high end expensive motherboard & I also wanted to verify that no content was missing (there was some questions about the included software that seemed to be missing).

In my first contact with support they completely ignored my question about the missing software but responded to my complaint about the packing.

It was not until I got a automatic review from their ticket system & expressed my dissatisfaction they responded to the question.

The sad part was that they responded only with a link to the manufacturers website for the product. The exact same link I SPECIFICALLY had included with the initial question pointing out that the software was not listed there.

I ended up having to contact the manufacturer & doing some searching on my own instead. It turned out the software is linked to hardware & you have to download a specific program that you then can download the software from and there was no information about this included with the product, listed at Komplett or the manufacturers website.

I will avoid Komplett in the future.

This due to my own experience with how they pack their products & also seeing others post similar experiences on sites like Sweclockers. Their support also leaves a lot to be desired but to their credit it seems to be something they are trying to improve with the automatic ticket reviews.

Unreliable online store

During black Friday I placed an order thinking that I would receive it before the 12th of December when I had holidays planned. Still, when I called them today on the 4th of December they said they would deliver it sometime during the last week of December. It was a Christmas gift for my loved ones, and now the price of the item is 2000SEK more than I bought on all other websites. I write this review hoping a customer reads it and rethink about buying from them. They don't care because their rating is 1 start at the moment.

From purchase to delivery

Just sometime ago I wrote a very negative review about the company, believing what PostNord has told us about where my item is and why delivery is delayed without updated information.

But it turned out just now that it was PostNord that has given us inconsistent information while Komplett has done its part correctly and efficiently.

I am sorry for my previous review and I should say that our experience with Komplett has been very positive, except that they can seriously consider not working with PostNord unless they improve.

I bought a computer

I bought a computer. I canceled my order while it was in shipping and they haven't refunded my money for 24 days and they give various reasons. I wrote an email and they could not offer a solution. The cargo was not returned. I talked on the phone. Again, they could not find a solution. I do not recommend you to shop from this site. Because on the site they say that they refund the money in 14 days at most, but this is not true.Talking again with company officials. I was told that my parcel had not arrived yet. I don't understand how a cargo hasn't reached them for 27 days. I think this company is playing a joke on me.

This is a third-rate Swedish company that refuses to accept returns despite EU law stating all purchases can be returned within 14 days.

I've received an 'unreadable disc' that can't be played on my PS5 and despite speaking with a staff member at Komplette.se via chat within one of hour of receiving the game, requesting an immediate return and cancellation of my purchase, I've been ignored for several days.

I've sent in over 15 requests via their website to return the game and ALL have been ignored! I've disputed the transaction via Klarna but will now have to contact Klarna again and explain that Komplett.se is ignoring me.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!

AVOID!!

I ordered a chair that was estimated to…

I ordered a chair that was estimated to be sent at 7th of april. It’s now 2 may and they have updated the estimated delivery to be 10 of may after the third time. When contacting the service about it i was meet with horrible service basically zero help with fixing the issue and just told me to cancel the order and followed that up with hanging up on our conversation.

Stay away from komplett! They are not as good as they used to be anymore…

Horrible store and service, avoid this seller

Update: coincidence or not, after writing this review I was informed that my order was canceled. I couldn't imagine more worse experience than that and not sure how this is even legal. Please avoid this seller.

Original review:

Ordered a product during black friday event, 2 month later it still not shipped. At the time of purchase the product showed 10+ in stock, but after waiting for a week for product to arrive it was shown as out of stock and back in stock on Dec 11. This info has not changed ever since. When contacting customer support they have not helped at all in finding the resolution or providing more info on when it will be shipped, and told me that if I don't like it I can cancel the order. Clearly since it was bought on black Friday it had a good discount which is now can't be found anywhere. The least they could do is to offer a similar product for the same price, but instead they just being ignorant. Horrible deal, horrible service, will never buy from them again.

Damage original package.

Komplett for some reason sends the PS5 in the original package and then blame Sony for it, saying they told them to send it in the original package. I mean what is this? The customer service is a joke.

This PS5 is for my brother, but he want's to save the box and keep it out of the display just like his original boxes for PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4.

I bought a PS5 a while back from another company for myself, and that PS5 came packaged in a aditional box. So I guess Sony only told Komplett to send it in the original package? Most incompetent customer service I have ever talked with.

Fake stock levels

They offer "confirmed in stock" on a specific date, but they lie. They don't fulfil the order and just delay to a new date (week later!) when it will be "confirmed in stock", called their contact centre and their literal statement is "usually the 2nd confirmed date is correct"...

UC kreditupplysning

I bought something yesterday from the website and unfortunately they don't have Klarna as a way of payment, so I chose Invoice. It turns out that they do "kreditupplysning" for invoicing to a product that costs 990 !!!!! So stupid . If I know this I would pay using swish. Hopefully I get my product and invoice correctly

Great Company for Sales and Aftercare

Okay., I'm going to go against the grain here. They are my go to place for business laptops (although they are competitively priced for other stuff). I generally check their site about once a month for specials and for the most part they stick to their restocking times. Moreover, their prices are among the best.

As for aftersales, my 20 month Asus 16GB i5 8th had a catastrophic keyboard failure. They farm this side out to a local service company Elcare who arranged for pick-up/repair (free)/delivery. You can see a minute by minute update of the repair workings.

Would recommend unreservedly

Shipping was bonked

My order took 8 days (instead of 1-3) and ended up 400km away from me, they gave almost no info and customer support just gave the wrong answers.

They don't care for you, at all.

I ordered a new computer for 17000 SEK (about 1700 euro/dollars, so yeah, money you don't easily spend lightly) but the notice was sent by mail to my old wrong adress, and no text message or email or anything, so staying at the pic up point for a long time it got sent back.
"It's fine" I thought, "I'll just ask them to send it back with my new adress!". It ended up spending 1,5 months at their warehouse before it was shipped again, all the while I was calling them several times a week, postponing payments and asking where it was (they didn't know half the time, and promised it be sent soon over and over).
When it finally arrived at the pic up point again the notice was again sent to the wrong adress, but this time I was calling them so often that they told me it was ready.
When I finally installed the computer after about 2 months since I ordered it it was faulty. It was making high pitched sounds at times and sometimes it didn't start propperly!
I had my fill with the company and sent it back to reclaim my money. They tried to fight me for it, saying I had ordered it a long time ago and that the payback warranty had worn off, but I explained I had had it for about 2 weeks and they gave in. Again it took them a month to register that it was returned and then a whole lot of hassle about my bank account information!

I got my money back and I will never give them any money again, the customer service were just horrible.
