No idea why Kontist has anything less than 5 stars. It's a perfect, simple, and free solution for freelancers looking for a bank account — with a lot of other benefits! I've been with them basically since the beginning and am very satisfied. The app works well, it provides a rough estimate of what you owe for VAT and income taxes, and it has good integrations with bookkeeping and banking apps. And did I mention the basic version is free?

Quick and sufficient
Recently had to call customer service and was really happy with how efficient and quick they respond and fixed my problem! I have been with Kontist about a year now and have always been satisfied with the customer service and just the service overall.

Secret fees, poor customer experience no trust
Ok after signing up for a free Trail, and never using the service I was then informed a year later that I owed them 140 euros for a service I never used.
i explained this to their customer service and it was just ignored.
and it took 24/48 hrs to get a response and i they still have not closed my account ( took another 72 hours to respond )
I have had over 8 accounts with different banks both business and personal and never had any type of issue like this
Summary: bad customer experience, alarming fees for no reason, zero trusts. AVOID don't risk your money with an inconsonant organization

Perfect banking solution for a freelancer and small business
Really thought out and and well designed banking service. It mostly works on the mobile phone, but you'll find a basic web interface and plenty of interfaces to different services. I can definitely recommend it.

I am happy about the whole Kontist experience. As a business owner, you want a solution that "just works". Download the app, video-register, done! Don't worry about any costs with the basic plan. And the best thing: it automatically saves you the needed tax-% from your incomes. I already recommended it to friends.
