Thanks for forwarding the 4 Ligularia dentata 'Midnight Lady'. I have reservations that the plants received have been seedling grown rather than being divisions or derived from tissue culture. Could you please advise?
My concern arises as the leaves - upper surfaces - are not dark in colour as they should be. I my experience propagating other dark leaved cultivars of the species from seed results in many inferior plants not living up to the cultivar description. RHS and others recommend division.
I would appreciate your comment and clarification please.
