One of the few sites I actually do trust. I know at least one of their writers does thorough, logical and sometimes critical exposes that have shed light on problems in the industry.

Stop forcing woke Morales

They are out to destroy traditional games unless the game in question tries to impose political garbage. There is a reason Ubisoft has taking a nose dive and companies that pander will also follow. People want to be immersed in the fantasy of games and they don't need a reminder of current political nonsense that is turning all their beloved memories and hobbies into the abominations that have been churned out by all small crowd that happens to shout that loudest.

Kotaku hates gamers

Kotaku is one of the gaming journalist sites that does not talk about video games, and rather does hit articles on gamers. They shouldn't be categorized as a video game journalists, but rather as cancan or a tabloid.

Kotaku is a front for Marxists and Communists, who continuously spew hateful and culture-destroying content. Kotaku encourages and supports unhealthy and potentially deadly ideologies and lifestyles. Definitely not safe for kids or anyone who is impressionable really.

Not a game publication - but a Marxist cesspit

Kotaku has become a joke within the game industry like many other 'journalists' which are not journalists. They are shockingly, far-left extremists & sometimes more standard politically left activists (SBI a consultation company are, like Kotaku, a strong example). Their articles lack any basis on reality, they miss context about issues and games they write about. They seem more poised to push propaganda and attempt to control or censor consumer knowledge and choices. Which is not what a games publication is supposed to be doing.

The website has become a far-left echo chamber where censorship of any dissenting or differing opinions are blocked to create a false narrative, a tactic used in Wikipedia, Reddit etc.

This website and publication are simply not fit for purpose and is best avoided. Remember to use an ad blocker if for any reason you feel compelled to read some of the horrendously hard-left partisan or Marxist leaning articles on their website. Which is supposed to be apolitical and about videogames in a pure form.

Like news media nowadays, independent journalist are the future, should one require an unbiased review of a game. Ah apparently the publication is failing and hit with layoffs, maybe there'll be less drivel to accidentally endure going forwards.

Their senior editor just wrote a propaganda piece on the Sweet Baby Inc scandal, where a lot of information and context was omitted (about Sweet Baby Inc being a far-left company with heavily racist views towards both Caucasian's & Judaic people). The senior editor when called out then said "hi! you can't be racist against white people! thanks for tuning in!" which was met with a community note correcting her racist response.

An immoral far-left mouthpiece through and through. Again; independent games reviewers/content creators are the best option for honest and unbiased information.

Kotaku - if you write a response they don’t like, they don’t allow it

Absolute garbage written by Ky Stewart

“Hogwarts Legacy Collector’s Edition Is Available For Preorder Today If You Feel Like Giving A Transphobe $500”

As kotaku wouldn’t let me write this review to this garbage author and his article, here it is

The primary school child who learnt too many big words and was given the wrong reinforcement (especially by the Kotaku platform) by encouraging
him/he/whofkncares to impose their own disgusting, incorrect and complete utter BS online is beyond a joke. Turns out the bully gets to write what they want because they are pro trans. Edit your article with an apology to JK and if you want to write she's a transphobe, do what no one else has, link her transphobe posts she's written

Kotaku Abuse Consent

Kotaku is currently showing an awful state of cruelty. They are refusing to remove an article that someone has been requesting them to take down for over a year. This article misuses information and goes against the individuals consent. Kotaku are not trustworthy. The fact alone that they have been requested for over a year and will not even respond to the individual in question, be it through emails, Twitter or even other methods, shows just how malicious and corrupt their company is.

Information was taken, used without consent and missued in a way that manipulated it against the individuals will.

This act and treatment is nothing short of a form of fraud, at the very least it's deception, which alone casts doubt upon their entire company, the information they spread and where they get said information from.
