Low Quality and Worse Customer Service
Last year, I purchased a winter jacket from Krakatau for over 500 EUR. The reason I chose this product was its design, which I still find very appealing. However, the quality has been extremely disappointing and far below what one would expect at this price point.
Within less than a month of use, one of the hanging loops ripped off while I was simply carrying the jacket on my back. Although I appreciated that this issue was initially addressed with a replacement, the problems did not stop there.
After less than two winter seasons of use (in total no more than six months), the jacket is now falling apart in multiple areas. The stitching is coming loose, and in some places completely ripped, to the extent that the inside of the jacket is visible. This is unacceptable for a premium product.
I contacted the customer service expecting a reasonable solution, but was instead advised to take the jacket to a tailor and repair it at my own expense. I find this response highly unsatisfactory. A brand that positions itself as high-end should stand behind the durability and craftsmanship of its products.
Is this truly the level of quality and responsibility Krakatau represents?
I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the lack of support provided. I will not consider purchasing from your brand again.
