I highly recommend the parent/ teen self defense training day to all teenagers. I did this training with my 3 teenage daughters, twins 15 and eldest 16. They were very skeptical and self conscious at the beginning but as the training progressed they started to get into it. The big thing for me was to hit home the message of being streetwise and to become self confident that if my daughter's were ever in a compromised situation they would know it's ok to defend themselves and not worry what others think about them. My girls are very quiet and would be very self conscious but Patrick and Maria are great and doing what they do so it wasn't long before my girls got into the training. I think this training is a Must for all kids nowadays as Ireland is not as Safe as it used to be! Was vigorous but very thought provoking and the awareness of ones personal safety makes this course invaluable. Great way to spend a Saturday with your Teen. From the most timid to the hard chaw Patrick has great wisdom to teach every Teen. I'm so glad I insisted my girls try this course. They will resist as teenagers if like mine think everything Mam suggests is stupid but so worth it! Thanks for a great day Patrick and Maria.

This course is absolutely incredible and a must for anyone interested in their personal safety, especially as we come into these dark evenings. The training has really improved my awareness of potential dangers and I am now equipped with practical skills to protect myself, if something does happen. You don’t need to be fit or have any marital arts background and is suitable for all ages. Patrick is an extremely knowledgeable, professional and an engaging instructor with decades of experience from the best in the business and he makes the classes fun too. I had been to other self defence lessons before but Patrick’s training is by far the best there is and most practical.

I was so impressed by the confidence it gave me, that I paid for my sister to go to the classes as she was going travelling to South America for a few months and knowing she had this training from Patrick really gave me peace of mind.

If you care about your safety and the safety of your loved ones, do not hesitate to sign up for this course. It’ll be the greatest investment you’ll ever make in your life!

Extremely reliable, great prices and amazing instructors. Highly recommend. Never any issues with attendance or payment. If I missed classes, Patrick always gave the option to attend others ones instead etc. So 5 out of 5 stars!

Did a day's advanced class last Saturday after a long absence - wish I hadn't left it so long! Patrick and his team gave us a review of the basics before going on to new techniques dealing with knives and sticks; as usual there were lots of extra bits in there too - stiff muscles on Sunday but great fun with great people!

I joined Krav Maga Ireland a few months ago, and it has been nothing short of life-changing. The instructors are highly skilled, passionate, and genuinely care about each student's progress. They create an inclusive, supportive atmosphere that makes learning both fun and challenging.

The classes are well-structured, combining practical self-defense techniques with physical conditioning. What I appreciate most is how real-world scenarios are integrated into the training, making me feel more confident and prepared in everyday situations. The community here is fantastic—welcoming and encouraging at every step.

I really enjoyed this course. I found it very well organised and loved how each class built on the next one.

The instructors were very welcoming and friendly and worked one on one to make sure you understood the moves. A really great plus was the fantastic mix of people, men and women of all ages as well as some teenagers with their parents.

You can tell the instructors are passionate about giving the best possible chance of dealing with being attacked.
I missed a class, and they specifically helped me catch up and gave me an opportunity to make up for the missed class.

I think the fact they give you a free full-day refresher every year as well as the entire course on Video really adds a huge amount to the effectiveness of the training.

Overall a great course in a friendly and positive environment with great follow-up.

I do not recommend this poor "kravmaga" course and unprofessional instructors.

Almost lost my eyes during the training with the teacher Patrick. I just wanted to learn krav maga techniques, but instead I have to do eye examinations. I do not recommend the course.
