Lying, Incompetent, Cowboys....and Girls.
I ordered my kitchen and it arrived around 4 weeks later (two weeks later than stated).
I phoned them to ask where the kitchen was because i was, as i was having time off from work so i could be at home when they delivered it.
Lie after lie after lie came from the man's mouth "its on its way", "it will be there first thing tomorrow", " the vans broke down" and so on.
It finally arrived!.
They brought the kitchen units and doors all wrapped up in cellophane in to the kitchen for me and quickly left, i moved the units into place and unwrapped the doors to find they were not the right doors, or the right plinths, well they had sent me the wrong style kitchen.
2 months after delivery they admit their mistake but i am getting more lies, i must have phoned 40 times to hear total B.S every time, they eventually sent me the correct doors but no plinths or end boards for base and wall units.
I went to the B&Q to try and find something of the same colour but to no avail, so i phoned Billy Liar back up at KrApton kitchens and he didn't want to send me any replacement boards, i was desperate by now because the missis was sick of washing dishes in a bucket in the kitchen and kept giving me earache, so i offered to pay for the items again if he would send them ASAP.
He was more than happy to help once i offered to pay more money to KrApton Kitchens.
So they sent me the correct boards and plinths, and wanted to take back the doors, boards and plinths they wrongly sent, i told them the van driver they could have the doors back but i would be keeping the end boards and plinths seeing as i was made to pay for them twice, they didn't like that very much, but the extra boards sure do make my rabbit hutch look posh :)
There's plenty more kitchen companies out there people, don't let these parasites take your cash and treat you like KrAp.

Lies, awful quality and absolute ignorance from them all...
I am very disappointed with everything about this company. Firstly they make false statements and promises to make a sale and then the quality of their worktops and units is shocking. I've only had the kitchen installed three months ago and the worktops surface has started to fade and when I have tried contacting the sales person and the company they ignore me and have no after sale service whatsoever. They don't care about their reputation and how they have treated customers as long as they have got their money. The delivery was delayed and the installation took three days for a simple 8 units kitchen installation. These guys are quick to take your money and then you won't hear from them again. The quality of the kitchen worktop is very poor and the kitchen will not last 6 months.. I'm currently 3 months in and the whole kitchen is wearing down and we hardly use the kitchen!!!!!!
Please save your money and avoid this company!
Worst kitchen company ever
Having ordered the kitchen from a design spec it turned up on time then went downhill. For the last 3 months I've been chasing the missing parts having rang and emailed 100s of times I've had to go to Howdens and pay 300 pounds to get the kitchen finished. There is no customer service, no one will call back or fix the problem ... Big warning do not use this company at all !!!!
gave faulty doors no good..
Nightmare service... Lasy year fitted doors already bobbled off white gloss...taken me 6 months and still sorting out.... Horrible service made about 100 calls to them fed up and angry... Doors look like mashed up

Very happy - and very good quality!
Having looked around the most obvious kitchen retailers I came upon Krypton by chance really and at first was a bit dubious having read some of the more negative reviews. HOWEVER - NONE OF THESE MATCHED THE EXPERIENCE THAT I HAD WHICH WAS ONE OF EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A VERY GOOD BUILD QUALITY! Andy was brilliant and produced a very good layout which was a vast improvement on the rest that I'd had and the cost difference was frankly outstanding. Everything went to plan and although there was a slight hiccup with one of the drawer fronts this was resolved very quickly and to my satisfaction. Its probably impossible to undertake a home improvement of the magnitude of my kitchen and expect it to come off without a hitch so I really have no complaints and would happily recommend Krypton to anyone thinking of installing a new kitchen. Well done Krypton and thank you.

Would Not Recommend, 3 Months to Fit,
Hi I contacted Midland Kitchen from Ebay. I renovated a property and required a Kitchen quite quickly.
Andy was Amazing at first, The design was superior to 3 other designs we had. They measured and quoted and said that they could fit in 2 weeks time and would take 4 days.
We took delivery all was good Fitters turned up on time.
There was quite a few pieced damaged so could not be completed. This is when it started to go wrong. Andy just does not answer his phone or emails. This went on for weeks. We thought we had been duped after reading the reviews so we turned up at the warehouse and found Andy there. We gave him a list of all that still needs to be completed.
They sent someone across we a few of the things but not all. Who could not speak English. We then have to start phoning again as no one ever returns your calls eventually after 4 months majority was done but my husband had to do a lot of the finishing off.
Its a shame as it looks amazing we bought because we loved Andy design, But Andy was who let the company down as they do not care once they have the money

Great kitchen, great service, great price.
I am often dubious about buying bathrooms and kitchens online, but I can honestly say that krypton kitchens/ midland kitchens have restored my faith. Andy was a skilled and informed planner ,who helped us create a stylish and functional kitchen. Andy brought samples of doors and carcasses with him to reassure us of the quality we were getting.
The 18mm carcasses are well built and incredibly sturdy.
Upon delivery there was a delay in the handles, however andy couriered the handles to us on the day that the fitters arrived.
The fitters were outstanding, skilled and polite craftsman and dealt admirably with our wobbly walls!
After a poor experience with B and Q previously, midlands kitchens really came up with the goods and impressed me greatly with their customer service.Very pleased indeed. Thanks andy.

Very Happy
I had a kitchen supplied from Krypton kitchens about 8 months ago. Everyone concerned was very professional. Andy came out to measure my Kitchen and help me design it. I then went over to the showroom in Birmingham to basically check out the quality of the kitchens myself. After the order was placed Andy kept in touch with me though out the process until the units had been delivered. I was one small item short, which did not arise until the kitchen had started being fitted, I contacted Andy who apologised and had the item delivered to me the next day. Problem solved. The whole experience was very good, I have a nice kitchen and at a very good price.
No business can be 100% all of the time, problems arise and problems have to be dealt with, but having read a couple of negative reviews on this site I feel that the people involved either used a totally different 'Krypton Kitchens' than I did or they just wanted to moan. I have recommended Krypton Kitchens to friends and family and I know that I will use them again myself.
If I had to give them a mark out of 10 I would give them a 9.5
Thanks Andy for all of your help.

Excellent Service all round!!
Absolutely love my kitchen. Planning and design was perfect, price was even better. No problems with my delivery, there was a few minor parts missing (hinges) but this was easily rectified by the fitter.
Could not have asked for a better service, was dubious as the price was low and wasn't expecting anything fabulous but cannot fault the end product.
Would definitely use this company again and recommend to anyone. This is a genuine review! Just though I would say as I have read some of the other comments which indicate that reviews are not genuine.

Thanks again!!
This is the second time i purchased a kitchen from KK .. this was not a simple box room kitchen and most of the units and doors had be specifically manufactured to fit the space... even i was not too sure, how it will look even so, with 3D design.. i was told to expect kitchen in 4 weeks because most of the units were not just standard sizes..the kitchen did arrive in the fourth week and the fitters did take longer to fit kitchen... having said that the i'm actually glad they did take there time, the kitchen looks great much better than i expected.. well done!!

Avoid like the plague.
Well I’m seriously disappointed by the kitchen from Midland kitchens. I would not recommend buying from them. The short version of this story is that I don’t think quality of the carcasses matches up to that advertised, the end panels which should match the doors was obviously substituted for a cheaper and very different alternative, and major delays should be expected.
I was looking for a handleless kitchen and Midlands kitchen did a range that looked pretty good at a very attractive price. I ordered a sample door from them which took two weeks to arrive instead of the 2-3 days as advertised. Turned out their suppliers, who they use to send the samples out directly, had caused delays. They simply resell the doors and only make the carcasses themselves, which is fine.
I confirmed the list of units and mock-up I had done and then made the order. Since the sample had taken two weeks to deliver, they said they would attempt to speed up delivery. However the delivery was confirmed for the standard 3 weeks away on a Monday. The Friday before the delivery day, I called and confirmed the Monday delivery date, since I had kitchen fitters booked for Tuesday. I waited for most of Monday before calling in again. I was told there was a mistake and it would be coming out the next day on the Tuesday. Tuesday came and went, and was told that delivery would now be on the Wednesday. On the Wednesday, I got a call that the delivery would be very late that day. I agreed that would be ok since I had pushed the kitchen fitters back for the next day, but then an hour later got another call saying that the delivery would not be able to come out. However they would be willing to deliver at 6am in the morning on Thursday. By this time I was down £400 in deposits for booking a kitchen fitter, since each time I was given assurances then cancelled. I was offered £100 discount which I accepted however when the time came to pay, I was charged full price and was told there was no note of this offer. In the end there was a £50 discount applied
This delivery did not include the doors for the cabinets as this was what was holding up the delivery so they offered a separate delivery for the doors so they could deliver the carcasses earlier.
So on to the carcasses. This is the description on the site
White Laminate Carcasses
This 18mm thick White Laminate Carcass is made from the densest MFC on the market. Every single component is edged on all sides in thick shock absorbent PVC edging unlike most manufacturers who use a paper 0.2mm edging and do not edge every component on every side. This cabinet also comes complete with a solid back-panel unlike other manufacturers who use a thin, cheap hardboard back-panel and because of this, we can offer a lifetime guarantee on all cabinets.
I also emailed them about the thickness of the carcass backs and they confirmed that the backs and drawers were 18mm thick
However just like the other manufacturers they mention, the carcasses are not edged on all sides. In fact the top, bottom, and back edges are left unedged. When i complained about it, the answer was that the description was for an older model of carcass which didn’t have the 18mm back . And with these "upgraded" units they didn’t need the edging. And then offered to send me a roll of edging so I could repair anything that went wrong since I was so concerned.
Typically when shopping around for a kitchen, edging for cabinets ranges from 0.1 - 1mm. The "thick" PVC edging was 0.4mm thick. For comparison the B&Q range has edging varying from 0.2mm paper on the basic to 1mm PVC on the cooke and lewis range
The carcasses also didn’t have a service gap at the back. Normally the side panels of kitchen units protrude at the back behind the back panel. This is to allow them to be secured to the wall and for any gas/water pipes access. The carcasses supplied didn’t have this protrusion. They were simply less deep with the back panel being the absolute back. They were supplied with "packers" which were separate bits of panel to attach to the back of the carcass to provide the space to the wall. This meant that the cabinets are freestanding or if they are fitted and secured to the wall, held by a piece of chipboard panel around 10cm wide.
The wall units also didn’t have brackets or a service gap to attach to the wall. They are meant to be screwed directly to the wall. Without brackets to adjust the levelling, you have to make sure you screw in exactly level first time round.
Along with the standard units I had ordered only two units which were custom made. One was just a standard built in double oven larder unit and the other was a truly custom unit which was to house a built in dishwasher. Both were made incorrectly and had to be sent back. Once again I was promised delivery of the replacements within a day or two but then was actually confirmed for a week later.
Finally the end panel for a run of units was made of a completely different finish to the doors. While they claimed it was high gloss, the finish more closely matched the plain white interior carcasses than the gloss doors. Once again when I complained and asked for a proper replacement to match the doors, they simply said they didn’t do it and offered to return and refund the end panel and considered the matter resolved. I had to find an end panel directly from the manufacturers of the doors myself.
Ive tried to leave out my frustrations from this review but the sheer length of this complaint should give you an idea of my feelings. I didn’t have time to simply return the kitchen and start fresh, but if I did , I would recommend going to a local kitchen fitter or just buying ready cabinets from B&Q etc. The quality on the B&Q cooke and lewis range is better in every aspect (except the back is not 18mm as they kept reminding me), the price is similar and you’ll save a vast amount of time and headache.

Beware Krypton Kitchens are also trading as 'Midland Kitchens' so don't fall into their trap. You will receive fantastic treatment in the showroom and when you pay your deposit but that is where it ends.
Had a truly horrible experience with this company. Kitchen delivered late with damaged or items missing which meant I incurred additional costs from my tradesmen who had a wasted day who could not fit the kitchen in the state it arrived in. Andy was unwilling to cover all or ANY of my out of pocket expenses and would not even offer a gesture of goodwill even though the delay was totally their fault. The company owner, has no moral, and his employs salesmen with the same non-existent ethics so if you have a problem you will be passed from liar to liar. Please, although the price of the kitchens are ok, the stress and trouble that comes with buying from these people is not worth it.
Finally, the prototype the salesmen show you in the showroom is not what they deliver. I received an unfinished kitchen, with the chipboard exposed at all angles meaning it is unpleasant to look at and will absorb moisture quickly.
Please do not buy from this company- you WILL regret it. 100% unprofessional and will soon go out of business if they continue trading in this way.

Very happy customer
we found Krypton kitchens & bedrooms on the internet. after getting a few quotes we did not like, we stumbled on Krypton's website & decided to call them & book a free design visit. My partner & I were very happy with the designer who went through the design on his laptop & really help to visualise the kitchen & took time to explain everything in detail. He showed a sample cabinet which really help us to make our mind up. The designer was a genuine guy & felt there was no pressure to buy although we did buy on the night.
We are very happy with the result. It was a pleasure working with them

i'm impressed
This is my second time dealing with krypton kitchens, as I have purchased a kitchen from them 4 years ago. When the time came to have our bedroom designed and fitted, I went straight back as I am very impressed with the quality of their product, and their price. I've also recommended them and a few friends are buying kitchens off them now.
