rebooked to other flight without any notice

We got rebooked from our original flight at 12:10 from (Joburg --> Cape town) to a British Airways flight 7 hours later without any notice from the airline. When we tried to log in with our booking code, it failed. Thereafter we found out that we got rebooked to this other flight. Noting they would do for us at the airport. The situation resulted in a ridiculous high phone bill since I tried to figure out what happened to our booking from the Netherlands calling to South Africa. In conclusion, worst service of any airline I have ever used.

Dishonest practice

Dishonest practice. Expect a bad experience.
I provided 13 days cancellation notice. The airline advise I could not get a voucher or refund, but would hold my ticket for 6 months. I requested re-activation within the 6 months to re-use the ticket, and I received an awful run-around over 9 days, 7 call center calls, with a series of lies about email confirmation to be provided.

Awful experience. I cant believe they are permitted to operate based on the number of similar reviews I am reading about this company.

The worst experience of my entire life!!!
PLEASE never buy from this awfully incompetent airline that just scammed my money!!

Our trip was cancelled due to covid.
First they have a NO refund policy in the midst of a pandemic! How is that even reasonable! Then they take forever to reply and never send any confirmation when they say they will!

They have the most awful service agents that lie to your face daily and no substantial communication system besides calling forever for someone to pick up or online form that also takes forever for someone to answer! Then the reply is nothing polite or apologetic or useful!!! And then they don’t reply after you answer them!

And when you try to rebook they don’t confirm anything!!!!

Absolutely unacceptable! I hope when Kulula and Comair falls to the ground one day, they will truly be apologetic for their inconsiderate business ethics!

Just goes to show the kind of people they hire to represent the awful ethos of their company!

This burden is so unethical and so uncalled for during such a tough time in the tourism and travel industry!

The worst experience of my entire life!!!

After finally securing the apparent 6 months ticket hold on FACEBOOK and not even from a proper agent there is no confirmation of when it will expire and what are the policies!!!

And when you try to rebook they don’t confirm anything!!!! LIES!!!

Then to add onto the misrepresentation they have a different fare total on my Kulula account to my actual bookings!

Absolutely unacceptable! I hope when Kulula and Comair falls to the ground one day, they will truly be apologetic for their inconsiderate business ethics!

Booked a flight with BA (COMAIR) at the…

Booked a flight with BA (COMAIR) at the start of the pandemic in 2020. Had to cancel the flights due to the pandemic & after numerous emails with promises of a refund from BA (COMAIR) got absolutely nothing. More than 12 months later I am still waiting. I have got refunds from Air France, Virgin, Mango Airlines, SAFAIR - but nothing from BA (COMAIR). I will remember not to EVER book with BA in South Africa again - they are not to be trusted!

If I could give them less than one star I would.

If you have ex an issue they palm you off to their “agent”. The agent “gotogate” is completely unhelpful (see my review in them). Kulula need to take some responsibility for their agents and not give agency to companies that are in fit to operate. Or if they do and there is an issue they need to be prepare to resolve.

Between kulula and gotogate I’ve basically been robbed, they failed to provide anywhere near an acceptable service.

You have been warned !! Use somebody else

I have been trying to rebook my cancelled flight due to coronavirus that was from Joberg to Cape Town since it was cancelled by the company in April and had no response from the company at all! I was then on their website which said they cannot make it adjust any bookings as their company is on a pause

No refund for a flight canceled by Kulula - illegal practices

I had a domestic flight between Joburg and CT canceled by Kulula due to the ongoing pandemic, however, they've rejected my request to issue a refund and offered a voucher instead. I kindly refused as I wouldn't be traveling to South Africa in the next 12 months, but they're very insistent that they will not be issuing a refund. Apparently, some airlines are acting illegally forcing passengers to accept a voucher when it is your right to refuse the voucher and get a refund instead.

Overbooked flight...

We (parents, children and grand parents) had bought tickets for a connecting flight to Cape Town from J-burg more than half a year ago and only had a short time to find the Kulula check in counter, which wasn't so easy for us. We got there 15 min. before the counter was closing, but were told, that the flight had been overbooked. Everybody at or around the counter where hopelessly confused, inefficient, not very good at communicating to us or other costumers. Bottom line: After a lot of confusion and waiting around, we had to wait for two ours with tired children for the next flight. No compensation - just frustration. Returning from Cape Town with Mango Air was WAY better.
