I ordered a Google smart mirror through Facebook, just like many others, only to discover I’ve experienced the same issue. I placed the order on December 1st, intending it as a Christmas gift, and assumed it might not arrive on time due to being shipped from abroad.
I contacted Kumi three times with no response and then emailed Shopify, the platform through which the order was processed, to report that I hadn’t received it. Despite this, the tracking states it was delivered on January 3rd, which is untrue.
It’s incredibly frustrating when companies repeatedly ask if you’ve contacted the seller or followed up when it’s clear, after an extended period, that these steps have already been taken. The business has taken my money without providing the product.
I’ve since reported this to my bank and the police to investigate this so-called company, Kumi, and the Shopify platform for allowing such fraudulent activity. Surely Shopify should have stricter vetting procedures in place to ensure companies are legitimate before enabling them to take money from unsuspecting customers.
This is undoubtedly a SCAM!
I had a similar experience as the reviewer below.
I bought a smart mirror, £28 , On the tracking system it said it had been returned to KUMI, Now they mark it as delivered which it definitely is not.
Trying to contact them constantly and no answer. KUMI.TODAY - SCAMMED ME !!!!
Avoid this scammers, I bought a smart mirror, £26 , they mark it as delivered, Royal Mail delivered it in a completely different address, delivered in North Ireland, and I am in Luton England. Now I trying to contact them and no answer. KUMI.TODAY SCAMERS
Ordered the mirror and was delivered today 270kms from my address, contacted Royal Mail with my order number and they said they have a very different name and address to mine. Photo of delivery was blurry. Something should be done about this company. Waiting for their reply now!!!
I cannot believe Tiktok allows this kind of scammers to advertise and dupe people. I ordered a smart mirror, it says delivered paid 26 pounds. Nothing has arrived. Please people be aware this company is a Scam!!!. Shamelessly taking people's money and false advertising.
Why are there no reviews for this place? Pop up shop on TikTok, Insta, FB for Xmas 2024. I ordered 2 32" Smart Mirrors for £56 - looked too good to be true.
Ordered on 28th November, and tracked via China Post to UK. Apparently delivered today to somewhere in Staines (I live in Norwich). Royal Mail can't be consulted about this, nor can China Post.
Several emails to Kumi and not one single reply. I will remove this review if resolved .. but the photo on the Royal Mail App (proof of delivery) shows a girl receiving a medium size Jiffy Bag that absolutely does not contain two 32" TV Screens (smart mirrors).
Not happy at all !
