I’ve been on the subscription for about a week now and I’m really happy with the meals so far. The food is fresh, balanced and very convenient, which makes it much easier to stay consistent with healthy eating. Delivery has also been smooth and the team has been very helpful. Overall a great experience.

As I prefer to have it for breakfast and lunches unlike other companies who do evening deliveries and I tend to not eat in the evenings. And it’s very convenient as it comes with all labelling in terms of calories, whether it is for lunch, breakfast or dinner and packed properly so I can straight away take it to work and heat it up. Very convenient with all the labelling I need is simple amazing.

If I could give this less than a star I would. This company is a scam! The food is disgusting and it is extortionate for what it is (which it barely resembles food). Soggy salads, unrecognisable foods. Just everything is absolutely disgusting. And their customer service team has been ignoring my emails. AVOID!!!!!! Taking them to the media to expose this company.
Their Instagram is also all just bot comments.

Disappointing - food wasn't great and I got no response when I contacted customer service about a delivery. I ordered for 5 days from 29 Sept. I was a regular customer of Detox Kitchen, and was looking for a replacement (I wasn't impressed with Calo). I agree with other reviewers that the food was often bland and I did not finish a number of the meals. For example, my first lunch was a tuna salad, which was lots of new potatoes, tuna, some veg and no dressing. Detox Kitchen somehow made healthy food taste good, but many of the Kurami meals, while offering lots of plants, did not taste good.
Delivery times are inconvenient - coming between 6.30 and 9.30 in the morning, when you'll often have already left for work - and they require 3 working days notice to change a delivery, so no good if you get called in for a meeting unexpectedly.
I also e-mailed at one stage - 2 days before a delivery - to try and change it and didn't get a response at all, even after 3 days.
I would not use again and the search for a decent meal delivery company is still on ...
NB - I have seen a few responses to similar reviews saying that they are unable to locate the account. I am happy to confirm my details if contacted (and I also completed a survey to similar effect during the 5 days).

Honestly love this service! The food is always super fresh and tasty and it makes eating healthy so easy. Portions are perfect size and there’s a great mix of options each week. Such a time-saver and everything actually tastes great. Highly recommend!
The food is bland
I love the concept but the execution is very poor. The food is really basic, and just tasteless. Also there are zero instructions on for heating, prepping etc.
Huge disappointment.
Dear, Kurami team -- please just fire your chef and hire a better one. There is clear demand for this product and so much potential here.

- The food tastes bland and some of the meals I couldn't even finish because it was so unenjoyable. Very little sauce or spices. I'm ok with less salt but at least make it up with herbs or something. They don't allow you to request animal protein instead of tofu (I have a tofu intolerance). They said the only thing they can do is remove the tofu entirely. I declined because I need some sort of protein in my meals.
- I requested they change my delivery day and it was confirmed multiple times over customer support. The delivery still arrived on the wrong day.
- They don't send you a tracking link for the deliveries which is strange because most e-commerce businesses do this.
- Support just stopped responding to me entirely

Most dissatisfying customer experience of my life. My wife who is recovering from cancer surgery accidently ordered 3 x meal plans all to be delivered on the same day, she only needed one. Upon realising the error I called Kumari to cancel the remaining undelivered orders and requested a refund for the unused portion of my order.
The food that was delivered was bland, tasteless and ended up going into the bin. To make matters worse the food that was delivered was completely different to the menu and what you get it is completely overpriced. It was such a shame to waste so much food.
While trying to request to cancel the remaining part of the order, Kumari were difficult to get a hold of and conveniently ignored messages and emails so that it was "too late" to cancel the majority of the remaining order. Given my wife did make a genuine mistake in triple ordering I was happy to pay for what had been delivered and be issued a refund for the balance. To be clear we paid £516 in total and I was happy to only be refunded half of this amount. Instead I was offered a gift voucher which we clearly do not want as an "exception" to their unfriendly terms and conditions. I'm currently going through the dispute process with my bank and given the circumstances we are in and my wife's condition, Kumari are a completely heartless company. Deep down they don't really care..

My wife is currently undergoing cancer treatment and I believe she signed up to have some meals delivered from your company. The idea was to have some ready meals while she is recovering from some very intense surgery and take the pressure off as we also have a young family.
Yesterday she received 3 x orders on the starting on the same day. She has asked me to take care of the situation as last night she had a complete breakdown about the situation realising she has now spent £516 for 3 x the food which we do not need.
I can see 8065 and 8098 have been ordered to start on 11th August, 7999 does not have a start date when I click into the order details. Clearly she has made a mistake as she is not in the best frame of mind currently. She has now stopped the subscription and does not want any further food delivered for the week.
Can we please discuss the situation and organise a refund that is fair and reasonable?

No way to track parcels. Missing food item (drink). Customer service did not come back when I requested for tracking email. Food is average and so we are cancelling our subscription.
Update from customer added on 1st May- Kurami today updated their reply, more than 8 months later. Now the reply puts all blame on customer. This is such an old issue and after 8 months suddenly the reply has changed and somehow there is new conclusion from the company?!? Very strange.
