Interaction with brand raised concerns
I’m leaving this review based on my direct interaction with the brand and my experience trying to get clear information as a consumer.
During the recent attention around the fleece featured in the TV series Heated Rivalry, I asked questions on the brand’s social media about whether certain items being promoted were officially connected to the show. Instead of receiving clarification, I was blocked.
I also saw several other users report being blocked after asking similar clarification questions. From a consumer standpoint, that made it difficult to get clear answers about what was officially connected to the production and what wasn’t.
Around the same time, a retailer briefly opened pre-orders for a fleece connected to the brand, which were later removed after the brand publicly said that rollout was a “mistake.” More recently, a new fleece appeared on the brand’s website with red detailing visually similar to the one seen in the show, but without clear explanation about whether it was connected to the official version being developed through the production partnership. This added to the confusion as someone trying to understand what was official before purchasing anything.
I also noticed a review on the company’s Google page from an account affiliated with the business referencing the show and the fleece’s use in it. Seeing that alongside the lack of clear communication made the situation more confusing from a consumer perspective.
This review isn’t about product quality. It reflects my experience with communication and transparency while trying to get accurate information from the brand.
