I cannot recommend their products due to the lack of post-purchase support. I am currently experiencing a firmware issue, but the website provides no documentation or download links. When I contacted customer service to request the original firmware, they refused to provide it. The interaction was unhelpful and the staff was rude. If you run into technical issues with their products, you are effectively on your own.
That's so sad... KuWfi has a good idea, but the software and/or hardware doesn't work well. Support is terribly bad. It seems they have no interest in their products working. They don't take their customers seriously. At contact with the support, they written strange answers and questions. Looks like, they don't have knowing about their products, and they have no real people who working at the customer center.
I've looking for a hardware solution to use a WiFi access point with LTE/5G data uplink provided by purchase an eSIM. Best solution for travelers.
Perfect seams the KuWfi eSIM-Router 5G01. You can install eSIM profiles by upload or scan a QR-Code, with App "eSIM Manager". Install the first eSIM profile worked. Internet was fine.
Install an eSIM from a foreign country - the second profile - worked fine. But: deactivate the first eSIM and activate the second one does only worked after many tries. Reactivate the first one worked only after several tries, too.
As i arrived the foreign land I've tried activate the second one again. The first eSIM profile was of course not working anymore, but it was not able switchover. That worked completely not. Every tries, there are error message "network is unavailable".
I've written a detailed error report to KuWfi and tried contact and communicate via WhatsApp. A rating of the product was sent with a report. I explained the problem again and again. I canceled the communication via WhatsApp after many explanation, because I was going in circles with my explanations.
