Kwinana veterinary hospital.

Kwinana veterinary hospital.
am veteran who served 26 years including three war zones, I have a black cockatoo named Archie who is a registered service companion, we have never been apart not even for one day in two and a half decades. One this particular day he was outside helping me work on my car when a hawk flew over and spooked him so he flew off. I was absolutely frantic and inconsolable and immediately started driving around looking for him in a state of panic calling his name. I then received a text from someone I volunteer with who said they didn’t realize he was mine and handed him in to this “vet” , it closes at 6.30pm and it was now 5.45pm so I rang them and raced straight there, when I got there a worker told me they wouldn’t give him back, I called his name and he answered, calling back in an extremely distressed state, despite me having a licence, as well as a volunteer native wildlife carers licence and every other licence to keep declared species and exotic birds plus hundreds of photos with him and photos from my volunteer work I do every pre-poll with him so he been photoed with dozens of politicians and hundreds of members of the public, we are both well known in Medina/Kwinana, so I called the police, by this time the owner came down, a mean old woman, who gave the police false and misleading information (a criminal offence). The police told me I would have to come back in the morning. So he was locked in a cold steel cage overnight all alone, he’s never been in a cage in his life. I had a very distressful night unable to sleep and suffering mental anguish emotional pain and suffering, without him. In the morning when I went to collect him she demanded my driver's licence and CALM licences which she had no right to (another criminal offence) and she then called wildlife licensing who of course wouldn’t give her any of my details but she pretended they did ( it would be akin to me ringing DOT and demanding vehicle and drivers licence info on someone, no way) eventually she gave him back. Their actions are a disgrace to the vet profession, her manner was rude, condescending, cold, callous and cruel. I have never been treated in such a disrespectful manner. Heartless and nasty, avoid this vet at all costs.
