It’s a scam. Everyone is fake and they won’t delete your profile. Don’t waste your time or money.
Everyone you talk to is either a bot, AI, La-date employee or paid actor receiving kickback from La-Date, with the goal of wasting as much of your time and money as possible by keeping you on the website and getting you to buy extortionate credit packages, and get this - if you are a man on this site, everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - costs credits to do. Even lingering in a chat window for too long will slowly drain your credits. Do not buy anything. No one will ever meet you. If you give out contact info like WhatsApp, it will be ignored. They want you on the site pissing away your money on useless credits. I’m lucky I caught on quick enough and didn’t end up wasting my money but others haven’t been so lucky. It’s a scam through and through, don’t fall for it.
Even more concerning though, is that they won’t delete your profile - you can only “deactivate it” I have contacted “customer support” about 5 times now telling them to delete my profile and all data they have on me and still nothing’s happened - you get an automated email saying your request has been received and nothing else. If you do fall for this disgusting scam of a site, all I can say is be extremely careful with what you share there and delete absolutely everything off your profile. Save your time and money from these scumbags.
Update 19/02/25: it’s laughable, really. They still haven’t deleted my profile, so I’ve deleted my photos and info - even changed my bio to a an all-caps message calling out this blatant scam - and yet I’m STILL being spammed with “women” liking/favouriting my profile and sending the most over-the-top, awkwardly-worded, love-bombing messages I’ve ever seen. The funniest ones are all the profiles in The USA/Colombia suddenly saying they’re nearby and want to meet up tonight (I’m in the UK). You can’t make this up.
