The best place to learn Spanish in Mérida, México
I just spent the month of September 2024 in Merida at La Casita Spanish School. I enrolled in their 4-hour daily intensive course. This was an amazing experience. Immersing myself in Spanish is the best way to learn. Fernanda is a fantastic teacher. If you don't understand something, she rephrases it, writes the word on the whiteboard, illustrates it, and breaks it down until you do understand.
All the employees at La Casita are kind and helpful. They engage you in conversation, getting you to practice even more! In addition to the class, on Friday we had field trips to the park, to a restaurant, and to the main plaza, where we worked on improving our Spanish while having fun. If you are looking to improve your Spanish, I can't recommend this experience enough!
Además, Mérida es la ciudad más segura de México. La gente es muy amable. Hay mucho que hacer, música en los parques, comida fantástica, tiendas, vida nocturna, cultura y museos. Los fines de semana, puedes visitar la playa, las ruinas mayas, los cenotes o incluso Cancún.
