unhelpful and do not deliver what they promise

I tried to get internet through fibre with Videofutur.

They indicated 1) that our address was eligible for fibre and 2) that they could deliver internet January 10.

However, when January 10 came around, we didn’t receive any materials nor had they contacted us. After a few attempts at contacting them, they indicated that 1) because on our address another house fibre had been connected, 2) they needed to request another outlet, and that 3) they wouldn’t know when we would get the connection.

After this, we contacted other providers and they didn’t commit.

I indicated not to want to start the contract, but Videofutur nevertheless sent me materials, while I had to send a letter “recommendé” to retract my demand for subscription, despite repeated mail contact.

In short, they’ve been very difficult and just not helpful in canceling the contract.

Poor quality tv.

Poor quality tv.
Router wifi horrible.
I understood at sign up that international calls were part of the offer. After loss of internet for a period (probably wasn't their fault, but they were not helpful to connect me to the third party who manages the line) I reviewed my bills and found I was paying some times over 50EUR / m for telephone. After contacting customer service all they could do was charge 10 / m from then on for what I understood was part of the offer.

Then freebox called and offered a lower price, since I was angry with VF I accepted, after verification they actually had fiber at my location. Turns out free lied and only had adsl. No way for VF or free to stop the process before I found my self with a new VF contract. This time I made sure international call for 10 was active. Sales guy said it was ok that I didn't have the code to transfer my # back from free to VF. Turns out it wasn't ok. 20€ later, with a request to have it waived with no response after the 2d they said it would take. So it is only customer service to fulfill the contractual minimum.

More negative interactions as well, but I've vented enough. Avoid VF AVOID FREEBOX more.
