We recently purchased our home in Brackley in September 2025. Honestly could not recommend them more. Ollie was an absolute superstar from start to finish, he could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Did everything possible to help us secure our purchase, helped with our interior choices by giving honest advice and opinions (when asked for!) We have moved with our newborn, and they made the whole process such a lovely experience. Since moving in we have been so looked after, site manager Jeff has checked on us quite a few times to ask if there’s anything we need, snagging has been sorted within a week. We had an issue with our dishwasher not draining properly and it was fixed the next day. Very professional, very friendly and excellent quality home, haven’t even needed a lot of snagging. Do not listen to negative reviews! Would give them 10 stars if we could, thank you for our dream home.

Lagan homes have been the best builders we have ever bought from. We have had 6 new builds with 5 builders including Lagan. Barry and Joe the site mangers have always gone above and beyond what would be classified as their job. Sales staff was great to with giving us as much time to make choices and offer suggestions.

This is our first time buying a new build after been put of by some of the larger developers, all of our doubts went away quickly after our first meeting with Ollie, He was fantastic and put us at ease almost immediately, his knowledge and guidance left us in no doubt that Lagan was the right fit for us. We love our new home and have had a great experience throughout the process.
The quality of the build is great and any snags were solved almost instantly by Jeff and his team
Even now 5 months after completion if we see any of the team they will stop and ask if everything is ok and more importantly how are we

We absolutely love our new home and have had a really great experience throughout the whole process. The quality of the build is great, the standard specification is really high, and there were no hidden fees along the way.
Ollie from the sales team has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. He was always friendly, helpful and really patient with us, especially around the exchange process, which made everything feel a lot less stressful. Even now we have completed, I know Ollie would help with any questions we have. A real asset to the team.
Jeff, the site manager, has also been brilliant. He’s really approachable, takes pride in the build, and was always happy to listen to any feedback we had along the way. It was clear that our comments were taken on board during the build, which we really appreciated.

This was my second purchase of a Lagan Home. I was apprehensive at first as the second time I was purchasing on my own. I needn’t have worried Oliver the Sales Agent took me through it step by step. If I had a query he would answer promptly in detail and was very patient if I didn’t understand. On Moving in day I was close to tears, the front door was draped in ribbon, a basket of goodies and even 2 Screwdrivers! The house was finished to a good standard and was very clean. I am absolutely delighted with my new home.

St James View, Brackley
We were looking to upsize on our current home and we love the estate at St James View,Brackley, so we headed to the sales office to see what they had available.
From the moment I went into the sales office both Ollie and Leigh were so kind, showing me plots, giving me information and advice and even taking me around to see the plots.
We fell in love with a house and from there the journey has in my opinion been 5*.
We have been kept UpToDate with the progress, had meetings with Jeff the builder and chosen all our options for the extras with Leigh.
Ollie has been awesome, showing us around the house over the last few weeks, ensuring we know whats happening and generally just being reassuring.
We are super excited to move into our home and the sales team are a credit to the site.Thank you for making our journey so special.

Disappointing, look elsewhere for your dream home
Purchased from Lagan and completed June 2025. By February 26 the list of damage that was in the kitchen BEFORE completion has still not been attended to and they have now stopped replying to emails. They pressure you to complete paper copies of snagging lists (you’ll never see them again) so you have to take copies of EVERYTHING to prove what you wrote down. On completion our house was FILTHY! We had an apology, not the dream you hope for on moving day. Oh and still no road despite some of the houses being occupied for 18 months, so good luck with you car negotiating the kerbs and raised iron works on a daily basis. AVOID like the plague!!
Lagan have replied below. Unfortunately they do not reply to emails. They are just ignored. Please provide your best contact number on here and we can contact you! This week marks exactly a year since we viewed the completed property and pointed out the kitchen damage. A year later this is still not rectified. A YEAR!

Excellent experience and wonderful team
We recently moved into a new house at Ravenswood Reach and wanted to share the excellent experience we’ve had.
From the first viewing, through all the organisation leading up to our move and even now after moving in, we’ve been extremely impressed with the service. Sam from the sales office has been wonderful. Always informative, very knowledgeable and great at keeping us updated while we were waiting to move in. She made us feel supported throughout, especially when we wanted to understand what was happening. She is friendly, welcoming and a real credit to the team. Thank you as well to Sharon, who helped us in the last few weeks prior to our move. Between them, they made what could have been an incredibly stressful time so much easier.
Not only has the buying process been a great experience, but we’ve also been very happy with the aftercare since moving in. Simon, one of the site managers, has been so proactive in helping us deal with snags. He has organised everything efficiently and the small issues we’ve had, have been fixed almost immediately.

Cancelled my reservation and not returned all fees
AVOID!!!
Lagan Homes cancelled my reservation and did not return all fees associated with the reservation process.
At the time, I was told that I would be able to reserve the same plot again shortly; however, after waiting around one year and repeatedly approaching the company to re-reserve the plot, the price was increased by £15,000. This resulted in a sudden and material increase in the asking price, meaning that the custom-build plot which was originally the cheapest became the most expensive, with no clear justification provided.
Because I relied on these assurances, my family missed multiple opportunities to purchase other properties during a period when market conditions were more favourable, and in total we waited approximately 18 months for this property.
During this time, the plot remained advertised on Lagan Homes’ website for over a year as “ready to reserve”, yet when I attempted to proceed with the reservation, I was not permitted to do so.
The Sales Director I dealt with was AR.
I subsequently raised a formal complaint, which was acknowledged but not substantively responded to, despite the company’s complaints procedure stating that a response should be issued within 20 working days; it has now been over four months with no communication.
As a result, I am now issuing a Small Claims Court claim to recover the money owed.
The complaint procedure was handled by SR and MW.
Edits: I had to remove the names of the sales director and complaints team due to privacy rules.

Sent away before we could even view
Unbelievably rude! We had made an appointment to view the Brackley properties at 1 o’clock on a Saturday.
My husband and I were looking for a large retirement home (cash purchase) and my daughter and her family for a three or four bed (mortgage pre approved), so we were there potentially to buy 2 medium to large houses, if we liked what we saw.
We had not even got inside the door of the marketing suite when the man behind the desk said “what are all these people doing here? We can only have two people at a time“.
If this is the case then why was it not specified when the appointment was made (which would have saved us time and travel costs)?
It couldn’t have been more different to David Wilson Homes and Dorchester Living, whose properties we recently viewed - they were welcoming and eager to show us round, even without knowing we wanted 2 houses.
Needless to say we relieved Lagan of our unwelcome million-pound-plus purchasing intentions and will NEVER go anywhere near one of their developments again.
We will never know whether we would have liked what we saw because we didn’t even get that far. Quite extraordinary behaviour and deeply upsetting.

We have recently moved into a Lagan Home in Willow Grove,Pickford Green. Being my first new build I can honestly say the experience was made easier by Louise and site manager, Jason. Both lovely and extremely helpful and will always do what they say they are going to do and put your needs first. Always on hand to answer any queries you may have - no matter how small or silly they might sound. The actual buying process was very smooth. Louise was there every step of the way and could be called on at anytime and made the whole process as stressfree as she could. Since moving in Jason has been lovely. Checking in.making sure everything is OK and that I'm happy with everything. Always visible so you know if you do need anything you can get to him straight away. He is very professional,very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Overall lovely house and a great team. Highly recommend.
