Should have referred to Trustpilot before ordering. Placed Triple Wheelie Bin Tidy. Supposedly dispatched to arrive within 7-10 days. Gave up after zero response from Customer Service and no update on tracking after 21 days. Cancelled order. Don’t be conned. These are not Lakeland

Placed an order for a shed on the 22nd of May, still no shed after a million excuses. Almost impossible to communicate with them and they have conveniently hung up calls a few times before. Should've checked their lovely reviews before I got involved. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I ordered a Toomax Dolamiti garden storage box XXL with the delivery time quoted as 7 to 10 days ,which eventually turned out to be several months! I rang Lakeland Home every week only to be told that the box would be with me by the end of the week, Friday at the latest; as mentioned this went on for weeks.By now I was getting pretty hacked off with the same old story ,I was eventually told that a shipment was waiting at the docks to be shipped to the UK from Italy. At this point I was about to cancel the order,but I was promised (yet again) that my box would be with me by the end of the week,which happened to be true,and to thank me for my patience they would compensate me with a free padlock! Well you can imagine my excitement with the thought of a free padlock,it had to worth at least a fiver ! Well my excitement soon faded to disappointment as it never arrived,this padlock saga has also been going on for weeks, it's the same old regurgitated drivel of' it was sent weeks ago,it must have got lost so we'll send you another one' - guess what? still no padlock!
This box is advertised on their website as RRP of £349.95 🤣 but being sold for £219.95 .It arrived damaged, luckily the damage was internal so didn't really matter. Had I seen the box before ordering it I would have looked elsewhere; they describe it as "premium" all I can say is perhaps they should look up the meaning of the word premium ! .
Awful company to deal with,I wished I'd checked out their reviews before making a purchase.Avoid like the plague.

We received this 8ft x 6ft shed which is worth the money great shed great structure and a great experience from start to finish. Couldn't have been more helpful and would recommend Lakeland for my friends and family if they ever need a shed.

Awful, awful company to deal with in every way possible.
Company - placed and paid for my order on the 6th May, with the website stating delivery between 14-21 days. Taking into account the two bank holidays in May, I expected a delivery date of around the 7th June. No correspondence until I chased then miraculously, an email arrived to say it was was through inspection and out for delivery. Almost one month later, still no delivery until I chased again, then was informed it would be delivered on the 12th July. Fully two months from order to delivery.
Delivery - Arrow XL is their preferred courier. Again, website says you can have delivery on a day of your choosing. This isn't the case, it's when they are in the area. They originally told me delivery would be on the 10th July ( Thursday ) with a two hour window slot...when we were at work. I re-arranged this for the 12th ( Saturday ) and was given my slot of between 2:00pm & 4:00pm. The 4:00pm time slot came and went, so I had to ring again to chase, and was told it was definitely out for delivery, but couldn't give me an ETA. I then got a confirmation that it had been delivered, and an electronic signature had been obtained. More chasing with Arrow just before they closed, and again, " its out for delivery and the scanners have malfunctioned due to the heat " ( it was the hottest weekend of the year ). The delivery turned up at 7:45pm..... I must say at this point, the two guys who made the delivery were brilliant, and my one star is by no way a reflection of these guys.
Product- Terrible. Ordered an 8x6ft shed. The instructions are as clear as mud. I'm a 56yr old man, and have put together a lot of flat pack in my time, and have assembled a metal shed that was like a Meccano set, and putting this thing together is awful. The actual footprint of the shed is 7x5ft, nothing fits properly without it throwing something else out. I've had the roof off and on three times up to now, and it's still not right, so god knows what will happen when the doors go on!
Overall, apart from the guys who delivered, a very unpleasant experience.
Avoid at all costs.

After waiting over two months for delivery the shed finally arrived — only to discover multiple significant issues:

After placing our order, we received an email stating the shed would be delivered within 7–10 days. However, we waited over two months before anything arrived and during that entire time we were not contacted once to explain the delay. We had to repeatedly call your team ourselves just to find out what was going on — which is unacceptable customer service.

When the shed finally arrived it was damaged, and even worse not the correct size, the box clearly states “10x8,” yet the actual shed measures only 6ft 11" by less than 9ft — far from what was advertised and due to the drastically reduced size it does not meet our storage needs.

We also had saw part of the structure to make it fit, causing additional inconvenience and compromising the integrity of the shed.
This is incredibly disappointing after such a long wait the product was not as described, arrived damaged, and your lack of communication throughout has made the situation even more frustrating. Frankly, this raises concerns around misrepresentation and potential breach of trading standards.

I have emailed a number of times and still no reply or phone call!

I had to call customer services about my order several times, they were always helpful and apologetic as my order took longer to arrive than expected

Sooo. Admittedly they couldn't keep to the 21 days max for delivery. However their customer service has been phenomenal and I can't fault anyone of them.
Apart from the delivery logistics and the delays ( not down to them).they did offer me a small refund due to not keeping within the deadline as advertised. Which was off their own back.

The quality of the product is 10/10
And can't be knocked for the price. I'm that happy with the product I have bought another 8x10 shed. Due to me being a returning customer, they did offer me a free padlock to go with it which I thought was a nice gesture.

I understand some people may have had the same issues but please bare with them, the product is worth the wait.

APPALLING
Ordered item on 5 May 2025 and to date 28 July 2025 still have not received it despite being told for the last month that I would receive it by the end of the week. I was then advised it was with the despatch company on 28 June and to date the tracking numbers are still invalid and I have still not received the item despite numerous calls and being told I would receive by the end of each week that I have called and then today after finally getting notification that it would be arriving on 28 July I received a text from the despatch company advising that they are unable to deliver because they have not got the goods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could not make it up.

so the down side of this company states on there website that the shed we ordered would be 14 21 days for delivery after various phone calls and emails they couldnt tell us when the shed would be delivered we decided to wait as the shed was exactly what we wanted some 12 weeks later we finally got the shed and credit where credits due it is a fantastic shed easy to build no missing or damage parts so although the delivery was not as stated the end result was perfect i must also admit the customer service was really good also and because of the quality of the shed and how stable in it thats why i have given 5 stars

Ordered an outside storage box about 3 weeks ago which never arrived ,spoke to the company who said the brand I ordered all had damage and asked me to choose another which I did then no communication.
Contacted them several times and they blamed the courier .
Goods eventually arrived but I believe we're previous customer returns as the box had been previously opened and goods had scratched .
I believe they offer goods they don't have and then source seconds or similar .
There service is appalling ,long delays and goods appear to be returns ,will never shop with them again .

The item ,a 3 wheelie bin store ordered on July 2nd. Stated was in stock and delivery within 7 to 10 working days . This did not arrive and two attempts to correspond via email were ignored. I have had to open a dispute with my credit card company to try and retrieve the £599.95 paid on the date of purchase . If there had been any reply to my emails I would have liked to have resolved this issue as I rely liked the look of the product but after reading other reviews I felt I had no other option than to cancel the order and try to get my money back . Only got a reply to my last email when stating I was cancelling the order and opening the dispute. This was an automated reply so still haven't had any person to person response.

We ordered a wheelie bin store and when we unpacked it,it was broken on one corner.We called to report this and was told to send a picture and the number of the parts that were broken and we would be sent a replacement..After numerous calls and being told it was on its way,we decided on the last call we would ask them to collect the whole thing and give us a refund but they conveniently cut the call off. We then saw all the bad reviews that people had left and realised we wouldn't get anyway,so we had to build it and try and cover the damage buy positioning it in a corner... terrible customer service won't be using them again

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS POST. Still 0 stars. I have managed to get a refund for my order that never arrived so thought it may be helpful to post. I ordered on 19th May so this has been going on a while! Sent formal email to company saying I wanted refund about 3 weeks ago. No reply after 7 working days so at that point reported the transaction via the bank as goods never arrived. Spookily 2 days later (on a Sunday) received email to say sorry I was cancelling and refund issued. They said it may take 7 working days. Didn’t hold out much hope tbh but exactly 7 days I have received the refund. I think doing it via the bank possibly helped. Hope if you are waiting for goods or refunds you get the same success. Persevere and keep all correspondence. The company is awful and it’s been a nightmare. Good luck all.

I have put and order in on 24 June 25 and waited for an email with the delivery.After waiting for 21 working days as said on the website I have send them an email , then went on to their chat;in the end I gave them a call, they said now that I will get my shed by next week.I will keep you up to date.Hopefully everything will be fine although after reading all this bad reviews I doubt it.After I have seen that this company was striked off once before from the companies house I expect this to be a scam…

I ordered a shed on the 28th of May with a 7 to 10 day delivery its now nearly 2 months later & no shed. I have been given every excuse going. I cancelled & was told my money would be in my account within 7 days, this has now passed & no refund. Its £600 so a lot of money. Avoid at all costs. Please be aware if claiming charge back through your bank there is a 120 day limit the bank informed me this morning. After this nothing can be done.

I only noticed the terrible Trustpilot reviews after placing my order and not receiving my product in the promied 7-10 days. I receieved no reply to two emails and started to panic. Phoned the helpline twice and thankfully got through quickly both times to pleasant and personable staff. On second call Chris explained that the shipment was delayed. I told him that I was worried this was a scam company based on poor reviews. He assured me this was not the case and offered to refund my money and call me once shipment arrived. I was surprised and delighted when the refund turned up on my card 3 days later. In the end I didn't get my product but I was pleased with the helpful phone support and fast refund

DO NOT ORDER !!!! From This company it’s a scam they take your money send you dodgy emails to say it’s being processed but it’s not , we ordered a shed on the 22 June 25 it’s now the 21st July and all we have had is dodgy emails and a text , I emailed to say we wanted a refund a week ago then all of a sudden 3 emails and two texts saying it’s being processed , but it’s been 4 weeks and apparently when I ordered it was in stock then 3 weeks after it’s in containment 🤣probably coming from china and not that company so be wary about ordering from here we had to get in touch with our credit card company to get our money back ! Just read the reviews before ordering .

The Company Needs Looking into By Not Just Trading Standards But By Company House And Banks
