The meat I have received from this…

The meat I have received from this company has always been lovely. I’m particular my Christmas order last year.
They did have a very bad patch Re deliveries for a period of about 3 months where even I was at the end of my tether. I did get my order finally but it took probably nearly the three months. Their main problem at that time I feel was lack of communication to their customers who would have been understanding I am if they had been given explanation for the unacceptable delays. My understanding is that it has been resolved so deliveries should be fulfilled quickly. I will continue to order as have always been pleased with my meat

avoid this company go elsewhere

What a rip off, no delivery no refund avoid this company at all cost. My order was for £70.24 ordered on 1st March 2021. I have emailed so many times now to different departments. Had one back asking if we still wanted delivery which would be week commencing 5th April or refund, thinking possibly the company was trying to sort themselves out I clicked delivery, but still nothing. Trading Standards not helpful so all in all I think I have lost nearly my full weeks pension so thank you for that!!!! I only wish that I was near the shop to go get my refund in person.

Avoid!

I'm not one for writing negative reviews but I don't want anyone else getting robbed by this lot. We ordered meat in January & they said there was a delay & offered us a discount to order a different pack. We made that mistake, it is now April & still no meat. Yesterday we got an email to say they have sent out 1 of our packs (that may or may not be true but we won't be accepting the delivery) They have also said they will refund our money for the other pack but not through PayPal (this can't be done as we paid through PayPal) and previously lied about already refunding our money! (Again, we can see this on our PayPal transactions) I'm going to trading standards, they could have a field day with this lot.

So disappointing

Ordered beginning of January, now Mid March and no info or contact. Beyond disappointed. Is just an email with some kind of explanation too much to ask?

Buyer beware - under-weight and poor quality meat

First order in Oct last year was great and I reviewed accordingly. 2nd order Nov 2020 finally arrived Xmas week after chasing (was not an Xmas order). Most of the products were up to 20% UNDER the advertised weights. The braising steak was absolute rubbish - full of thick fat/gristle - I got 600g out of 800g of rubbishy beef (which should have been 1kg)). The beef mince had a lot more white fat in compared to first order. I complained and after a wait I was offered no valid explanation apart from a random offer of £10 of my next order. I messaged the Marketing email address to complain about the mis-selling and supposedly Tom answered to say they’d ‘refund what I hadn’t received’ in terms of weight. No ack of the fact they’re taking money for specific weights and not supplying and no mention of the meat quality. I tried to resolve without giving a negative review but they just don’t care. This company has grown far too quickly and the quality of meat, service and complaints procedures is very poor. My friend ordered £80 worth of meat early Jan and still hasn’t received it as of mid-March!! Please go somewhere else and don’t order from this company. Very disappointed.

Appalling customer service.

My experience with this company recently has been dreadful.
On Feb 3rd I placed an order for about £50 worth of meat. Nothing had arrived by the end of February, apart from a message saying they were having problems fulfilling orders and asking customers for their understanding. On March 3rd I asked them to refund my money, since they obviously couldn’t supply the meat I’d paid for. They apologised and assured me they would refund the full cost. Today is March 16th, no money has been refunded and the matter is now with Trading Standards.
I wish I’d read these reviews before ordering!

Must try harder! Dragons would crucify them

My order was placed on 15th July and had heard nothing by about 28th so contacted them and was told my order would arrive no later that Friday 31st. Friday 31st had a message saying that they were sorry but my order would not be arriving that day but would definitely be shipped the following Tuesday. Tuesday received a phone call saying that they were waiting on pies being delivered so could either ship without the pie or wait until the following day. I was keen to try their pork pie so said the next day would be ok. Thursday 6th August the delivery arrives and when open the contents were not cool (the blocks that I assume were meant to be cool were room temperature) but the meat seemed ok however the pork pie that they apparently delayed the despatch for was not in the box. In it's place was a steak and ale pie, which wouldn't have been too bad but the USE BY date was 5th August, the day it shipped and a day before I received it. The meat seems ok but as I never received the pork pie I ordered and had to throw away an out of date steak pie I cannot comment on them.
I obviously complained and after waiting and chasing a response I was told they were very sorry, took customer service seriously and offered me money off my next order. As of today they have not followed up this money offer and I've received no further communications at all. Maybe some people will have a better experience but I am not at all impressed with their service levels and who would trust a company that sends out of date meat products to customers.

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever, we ordered £180 of meat from Lamb2ewe and couldn't beleive it was delivered in a non refrigerated courier van.
This meat had been in the hands of the courier non refrigerated for at least two days prior to delivery and when delivered some of the meat was off.
We complained to Lamb2ewe who said they would send a replacement order but yet again it was delivered in the same state and we didn't even open the boxes as the smell was rancid.
Lamb2ewe are now ignoring my emails, have blocked me from both Facebook and Facebook Messenger as they don't want to hear about the problem and want to block you from informing others.
The matter is being taken up with Trading Standards and hopefully that will make them take heed.
In the meantime I would urge people to avoid this company and their shocking delivery process.
If you value your health buy local from your butcher and don't line the pockets of these people.

Shocking delay in shipping - poor customer service

I placed an order with this Company for a delivery of meat and a fresh vegetable box on 14th July with an anticipated delivery date within 9 days which was a long wait but fine. There was no contact and no delivery and so I sent an E Mail querying the delay. I was promised a delivery on or before 29th July with an explanation for the delay which was also fine. Still no sign of the delivery so I sent another 2 E Mails querying it. Today I sent an E Mail explaining I was going away so wished to cancel my order which hadn’t even been shipped because of the delay. Later today I received an E Mail to say my order has been shipped with no detail re anticipated delivery. I will be away by the time it arrives.
The delay and lack of customer service is very disappointing. I will not be using this company again
