Great experience and absolutely perfect customer service that truly want to listen and improve, although in my opinion, the app is perfect as is.

So far so good !! They have so many helpful features such as the stacks and fraud prevention!! Only thing that would be better , is if they had away of accepting mobile check deposit for the Payment revived via invoice or mailed invoice

Lance is a solid account specifically targeted to freelancers. I love that. It has some great features. One issue I have is that, for me, the Pro features are no where near worth a month fee of $11.99. It would be great if they were standard with the account or more in line with the premium fee of similar apps $4.99. I signed up for Pro precisely for Lance Check out, only to learn that it is no longer available. It seems we should have received notification of that. If not for these issues, I would have given 5 stars. There's great potential here, but definite room for improvement.

The only thing that is missing with Lance is Desktop access. Sometimes it is easier to work on a desktop than on the phone all the time.

Would give higher rating, but no mobile check deposit, which is very important to my business

I’m not impressed with this app or bank I tried to move my check from one bank to Lance and they closed my account because of funds issues and then wouldn’t put the money back in the account I tried to transfer out of the instead I was made to wait 15 more days for a paper check

I would love to be able to use this bank account. But because there is no way for me to deposit customer checks in the account it is useless. If you get your money from apps or direct invoicing your customers through Lance it seems like it would work great. Maybe- I guess? I mean I honestly don’t know as I haven’t been able to use it.

I had an awful experience with Lance. Features and functions of the app were not accurately represented; processes to close my account were not accurately represented. At one point, I genuinely did not know if I would be able to get my money out of my Lance account at all, and that process took weeks.

I was excited about this app. If it did all that was described on its site, it would be so useful for freelancers. Unfortunately, after such a bad initial experience, I could never trust it or recommend it to others.

Someone had gotten into my account took my money that was for a customer and Noone does anything about it

I like the concept of Lance. We’ll see how well it does with the Schedule C stuff it says it does. Right now I have difficulty because it doesn’t support depositing checks or doing Bill Pay—2 pretty essential business banking tasks if you ask me.

Lance is more than a banking app. It changes your mindset around money, something that's tangled into fear for many freelancers and soloprenours. It teaches you how to pay yourself, save for your future and put away (and pay!) your taxes. I love it.

Lance takes the stress out of banking for my small business. The stack system sets aside my quarterly taxes (and pays them), as well as a regular salary I can rely on each month. They're a neobank, so they don't come with the robust set of features your average bank has, but I find they have just what I need as a freelancer. If I have trouble with anything, the team is always quick to give helpful, personable support. Last week I had a question about my taxes and got a personal call from the CEO offering me help. I was blown away!
