DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are a broker that will make you believe that they will be doing your move. This will act like they care about you and your things, and will end up giving your contract to a nobody company with a 0 rating and your things will get destroyed. They will tell you they will give a white glove service and guarantee you that they will see you through your move, and at the first sign of problems they will avoid your calls, tell you you have to take it up with the company that shows up at your door and that you had no choice but to use. Danny made a ton of promises that he did not deliver on. My family and I completely got played by him and his company and we were a 12000+ move, not a 2000. Again do yourself a favor, hear my warning and DO NOT USE THEM, save yourself the headaches!

The absolute worst moving company

The absolute worst moving company! DO NOT USE! I initially booked Landmark to move my things from Atlanta to Monterey, CA in May 2021. I gave them an estimated delivery date of early June 2021 in which it is now August and I still have not received my things. I provided them an itemized list of my things and when they arrived, they told me that it will be almost double the cost to have my things moved. The driver told us we will receive a bill and we can further discuss the charges at that time. 4th of July came and I still had not received a bill nor my things. When we reached out to them, Tim told us that my things had been sitting in a storage unit in Norcross, GA due to me not paying the correct amount at pick-up. We told them we paid the amount that was instructed based on the contract that was signed. Tim then went on to tell us that we have to pay the storage fee of $1,400 and once that has been paid, they will be able to get my things out of storage and out for delivery. That was paid the following week after the 4th of July. Again, it is now August 23rd and we cannot get in touch with anyone from Landmark Movers. Tim, who I believe is the dispatcher, has blocked my number. Kasey who initially provided me with the quote and contract has refused to answer my calls or texts. The customer service number provided on their website always goes into voicemail. Words cannot describe how atrocious this company is and how unprofessional they have been through the entirety of this process. I am seeking to simply get my things back and are having to take legal action get them due to them being so unresponsive.

Please beware!!!

I did not use their service. My wife contacted them and the person who sent us our quote was quite pushy and called my wife all the times except the times she requested to be called. The customer service sounded very sales driven. I ended up having to call him and told him we are not interested in their service. Other reviews on here seem to say about the same thing. I am glad I was able to catch it before we used them.

WARNING! Don't Use Landmark

Landmark has a high pressure sales force. They quickly promise anything then insist on a cash deposit. That should have been a red flag. They give a cancellation period for a full deposit return BUT refuse to take you phone call during that cancellation period thus I lost my $1200 deposit. The BBB could not help get my deposit refunded. I should have checked BBB first as Landmark has an F rating with several complaints and a 2 star rating with yelp with several complaints. They are thieves.

This company is fraudulent

This company is fraudulent. I wouldn’t rate a 1 out of 5. They are being investigated by the FBI as we speak! They do not do business as planned. I did not receive my furniture and they also stole $893 from me. This company is a waste of time and money. They talk a good game but do not follow their plans. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. If you want to get the service you pay for, do not let this company work for you!! FRAUDULENT COMPANY!! They are also very rude and misguiding!! From TAYLOR to CHRIS, neither one of them can be trusted. Chris leads you to believe the service is legit but soon as he gets your contracted completed, he doesn’t want anything else to do with you! The estimated pick up time and the estimated delivery time was all a JOKE! FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD.

Do Not Use-They canceled the day before they were scheduled to arrive.

1 day before this company was to arrive they canceled. We had to be out of the house and arrive in Fl for a new job and and house settlement and had no truck or movers. Had to cancel flights, and fortunately found an empty Uhaul. This kind of service is unacceptable and we were given no help to find other transport. DO NOT TRUST THE CONTRACT.

This is NOT a moving company (BROKER)…

This is NOT a moving company (BROKER) which sell you off to another ripe off company. They are ripe off con-artists. They will lie to get your money and sell you off to another company which will hold your belongings and extort you for more money before you get your belongings. They need a class action lawsuit to put them out of business and/or have law enforcement get involve.

Absolutely do not work with them

Absolutely do not work with them. They lie to you about price - I was charged over double what they quoted me - they contract you with a terrible moving service (but do not tell you) called M A P Moving and Storage, and they lie to you about timeline. I was told by Landmark that if they picked up my stuff Sunday the average delivery time frame is 4 days and I could expect it Thursday, but it is guaranteed within a week. After the movers picked up my stuff (left tape rolls and dirt all over my house), we were expecting a Wednesday or Thursday arrival. I heard nothing all week after calling and emailing Landmark several times - they finally responded once saying they spoke with a woman from MAP. I tracked her down and she told me my things would be there 3-10 days after my first available delivery date, meaning 3-10 days from the Thursday I was told my stuff should be here. This was absolutely NOT what Landmark had told me and is leaving us in an unfurnished apartment for a week and a half. I will never work with this company again and would highly recommend against it. To be seen whether my stuff gets delivered within the 3-10 days and if things are broken. Based on the reviews of MAP, I'm expecting a disaster.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. My experience was similar to all other poor reviews. I was given a completely ridiculous estimate to which I knew was not going to be anywhere near accurate. Turned out to be double the original estimate. They make you think this is some well run family company and they are the company in charge. Well they are just brokers. After showing up 4 hours late for pickup, I was asked when I would like my items delivered, I gave them a date and now that date has come and gone. After calling landmark as well as the actual company doing the move SNY relocation and getting the run around, they are refusing to let me speak to anyone with any authority. They have no clue when the items will be delivered. This is how you run your business? Wow. Do your self a favor use a different company.

Completely fraudulent business

Completely fraudulent business, the 5 star reviews on here are all fake. Hired them to move items out of state. Had a very promising first phone conversation, the person we spoke to was very polite and told us about all their "5 star reviews." They stated that they did not subcontract out to other moving companies (which we soon found out to be a complete lie). Even their website is set up like they are the moving company, when in reality they are nothing but sleazy, fraudulent brokers. We felt confident that we had picked the right company, but sure enough it was too good to be true. We had given them a very rough idea about how many items were going to be moved, and then a month later, a week before the move, we gave them a full, detailed list. The days leading up to the move we tried to contact with them with some questions and suddenly they became increasingly hard to reach. Then, the day of the move, a moving company subcontracted by them showed up to move our things. As stated before, Landmark Moving & Storage told us straight up that they did not do this, but they lied. The moving company that showed up started saying all these fees that we were never told about. We were told them having to park on the street was no problem by Landmark, but according to this company it was $75 extra, for example. Plus they didn't take the method of payment that Landmark said they would. Not only this, but they did not have the updated item list, so they showed up with far too small a vehicle to transport all the items. They only also showed up with only two guys, and much later than they said they were going to arrive. Two guys who have taken a very long time, going late into the night, to load all the items safely. It was clear at this point that Landmark Moving & Storage was just a broker, and a fraudulent one at that. After they got their first of 3 installment payments, they were barely able to be reached, and could not be reached at all after the problem arose the day of the move, aside from when someone called my girlfriend and accused her of never giving an updated item list to them, even though I was in the room when she gave the updated list, and then the subcontracted moving company *suddenly* got an updated list right after in their desperation to keep our business. Needless to say, we sent the movers away and cancelled the move. At this point I wouldn't trust this company to ship a single envelope, never mind half of my possessions. They made off with that first payment installment for doing no work at all. Don't spend that $675 all in one place you scumbags. You clearly need it more than I do. Please, don't trust all this talk about their 4.5-5 star reviews, anyone can leave reviews on these sites, and I wouldn't be surprised for a second if they just sit around all day writing 20 fake 5 star reviews for every real 1 star review they get. Save your money, and don't risk possibly never seeing your possessions again by using these scam artists.

Horrible told me what I wanted to hear and used to me

My name is Coty Madrona I looked online for quotes and services to move my stuff from California to Texas and I spoke with a person while nephew name Brian cote his uncle owns the company he sat down and talked for an hour or so going over everything and he promised me my stuff would be within 20 miles of my location in Arlington that didn't happen my stuff is still in California and he specifically said time and time again my price would not go up per dot contract but he lied about that as well I did the quality insurance call with CJ their customer service manager and I took less stuff with me and I had an annotated on the inventory sheet and then the movers show up that they contracted out to and ended up charging me $1,000 more because they looked at my stuff and it was overweight just by them looking at it the dispatcher for the movers also threatened to cancel my move but I had to have it done so I had to accept that they were not coming on the day that I specified in to come on which was a Friday and they came on a Saturday which made my drive later then I wanted it to be and now I'm stuck here paying more because I was promised things that never even happened I try to get hold of Brian at landmark but he won't answer my calls or text messages I try to get hold of CJ and he will not answer my calls or text messages to resolve the issue but that is not the case they literally used me to get my money and pretty much don't want to deal with me anymore this is probably the worst company that I have ever had to deal with they're very rude and very unprofessional they'll tell you things that you want to hear just so you can get your business I would never recommend this company to anybody and I'm sad and I'm very angry that I had went through this so landmark if you are reading this review you guys are horrible you guys treat customers like trash if you want to speak to case my number is 661-903-6175

Do not recommend

At first, the sales rep was very nice and genuine. The drivers were also friendly-ish. However, they were over 6 hours late picking up my shipment. They showed up in a beat up truck with the DOT number ducktaped to the side. They do not accept any form of credit card payment and instead you have to give them cash or money order. Since they showed up so late, no banks or anything were open, so they asked me to write a blank check, to include the additional fees that were not part of my quote, for having a "bulky" item. It took well over a month for my shipment to arrive at my final destination, which granted was not entirely their fault as it took me 2 weeks to get an address for the shipment. But then it was another 3+ weeks from there to get my stuff. The driver who brought my items to my final destination showed up with his 2 children, both not even teenage age yet. He proceeded to charge me an extra $375 (had to be paid in cash) for walking up stairs, which in the paperwork said an extra $75 for stairs. When my goods finally arrived they looked like they had been through hell. The boxes were all beaten up and smashed. I have an $1,800 paddleboard that I tried to file a claim due to the damage on it, and have not heard back in 3 weeks now. I would highly recommend that you check out the reviews for MAP movers, because that is who they really are. I think Landmark Moving is a cover for MAP moving, but both are equally as bad.
