My experience with Lenguaje Corner was really good. I joined a Chat and Chill session and it was super fun. I felt comfortable talking and practicing the language, and I met a lot of great people thanks to it. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming

The ‘Improv’ English Masterclass is a great class focused on conversation and improvisation. Group sessions are relaxed and interactive, making it easy to practice English, gain confidence, and speak more naturally. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to improve fluency without pressure. I would definitely recommend it!

Dutch is not the easiest language to learn, but my classes here made it fun and everything actually made sense!! Had three lovely teachers - different styles everyone - who would get out of their way to double check we were really following and no one was staying behind. We were even given some extra material other than the book/ online platform, so plenty of opportunities to practice! (Also some cool Dutch tunes to understand culture) the school is nice and cozy, and the vibes are chill. Will continue studying here for sure.

Trap niet in hun mooie praatjes en loze beloftes.
Bij de intake wordt in slechts drie minuten je niveau bepaald – veel te kort om een realistisch beeld te krijgen. Hierdoor word je gemakkelijk in de verkeerde groep geplaatst.
De docent, die geen Nederlands spreekt, geeft geen uitleg over de boeken en zelfs basis-hulpmiddelen zoals stiften zijn leeg. Huiswerk kan niet worden gecontroleerd, wat het leerproces totaal ondermijnt. Het is dan ook niet verrassend dat de helft van de groep al op de helft van de cursus is afgehaakt.
De zogenoemde geld-terug-garantie is complete onzin. Zodra je kritiek hebt, word je uit de groep gezet en doen ze helemaal niets meer voor je. Het voelt alsof je na betaling direct in een strijd belandt om je geld überhaupt terug te krijgen.
In zes weken wordt enorm veel stof er doorheen gejaagd – materiaal waar je normaal gesproken een jaar over zou doen. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is daardoor waardeloos.
Mijn advies: steek hier absoluut je geld niet in. Het enige waar ze in lijken te investeren, is het binnenhalen van betalende cursisten – niet in het bieden van degelijk onderwijs.

Don’t fall for their smooth talk and empty promises.
During the intake, your level is determined in just three minutes – far too short to get an accurate assessment, which makes it very easy to end up in the wrong group.
The teacher, who doesn’t speak Dutch, provides no explanation about the books and even basic tools like markers are dried out. Homework cannot be checked, which completely undermines the learning process. Unsurprisingly, half of the group dropped out before the middle of the course.
The so-called money-back guarantee is nonsense. As soon as you give any criticism, you’re removed from the group and they stop helping you altogether. It feels like the moment you’ve paid, you’re already fighting to get your money back.
In six weeks they rush through an enormous amount of material – content that would normally take a year to cover. The price-quality ratio is therefore terrible.
My advice: do not spend your money here. The only thing they seem invested in is getting paying students in the door – not in providing proper education.

I would not recommend to take classes at this school. I have been incorrectly assessed and put to the group which is way higher level in language proficiency. When I asked to move me to the lower level reply from school was “tell the teacher to talk slower”. I have never experienced such an unprofessional approach to the paid education. Definitely the first and the last time I took classes at Language corner. They don’t care about students - only money
