Lovely late Sunday lunch - brilliant service - walked past this restaurant many times never been today was the first time and we will be back as regulars now, beautiful food .. my husband and I very happy

Worst service ever. The waiters have no finess and behave like labourers at a construction site. Then it takes 100 years before they come to take your orders. No eye contact from the waiters so impossible to get a hold of them if you need something. Then we asked for bill and the waiter went all over the world and did everything else before he suddenly remembered we had asked for it. In a nutshell the waiters have NO sense of service, professionalism, and are so complacent. The food is nothing special as anyone can fry a steak. Service on the other hand is everything, so never eating there again.

and today my close friends and I wanted a glass of wine after dinner and one of the main waiters were very impolite telling us and I quote “this is not a drinking place”. I was very chocked that a professional waiter would talk like that.

We tried La Rocca's Dining Week offer, including their wine menu, and had an excellent experience. The food was well prepared, delicious and well paired with the wine samples. Even though the portions were generous, we did not leave anything on our plates. The restaurant was full, and a lot of guests were expecting their food at the same time; nevertheless, we felt well treated by the competent Italian waiters.
The red wine was particularly interesting to us, so we decided to order a case for later pickup. There is always a certain hesitation when you pay in advance and pick up the goods later, but this transaction was smooth; possibly because we were recognized.
The only (minor) drawbacks were that the olive oil did not appeal to us, and that the restaurant (which was full) was somewhat noisy.
In conclusion, however, there is no doubt that we will return to this restaurant in the future.
