Failed accountability on their part!

I’ve been a customer at Larrimor’s for years, and I’m disappointed in how the store handled a very simple issue. Their employees never asked for my birthday when setting up my profile, which meant I never received the birthday gift cards they advertise. When I contacted the store to correct it and asked for the past year’s missed offer, the owner (Tom Michael) refused, even though the mistake was caused by their own staff.

Instead of honoring the gift card I should have received, I was only offered a donation made “in my name” to a charity. While that may sound generous, it doesn’t solve the original problem, and it left me feeling like the store wasn’t willing to take responsibility for their own oversight.

It was a very small request and could have been resolved easily with good customer service, but it wasn’t. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend shopping here or trying to resolve any issues directly with the owner. There are plenty of other stores that value their customers and stand behind their promotions.
