Thank you for your feedback, and I’m really sorry your order didn’t arrive on the expected date.

This week we experienced an unexpected delay with our air carrier transporting shipments from the East Coast to BC due to a safety issue. The flight arrived late, which caused some orders to miss the handoff to the final-mile courier. Unfortunately, this was outside of our control, but we completely understand how frustrating that is.

While we don’t guarantee exact delivery timelines due to factors like air transit and weather, we do stand behind the quality of every order. If there are ever any issues when your order arrives, we will always make it right.

We’re also taking steps to improve this experience. As of June 2026, we plan to open a distribution centre in Vancouver, which will help shorten transit times and reduce the risk of delays like this in the future.

Thank you for your feedback — really glad to hear you enjoyed the taste, that means a lot to us.

I completely understand your comment on quantity and value. In your case, the cooked lobster meat is one of our more premium products — it’s fully cooked claw, knuckle, & tail meat and typically represents the yield from 4 whole lobsters, which is why the portion can feel smaller compared to other items.

Being in Calgary (an extended delivery zone), shipping and logistics costs are also higher right now, which can impact overall value. That said, this is something we’re actively improving. With our new Vancouver distribution centre opening in June 2026, we expect to significantly reduce shipping distances and improve value for our Western Canada customers.

We really appreciate you giving us a try and sharing your thoughts — it helps us continue to improve.

While we don’t guarantee specific delivery timelines due to factors like weather and air transit, we do stand behind the quality of every order. If a box doesn’t arrive in great condition, we will always make it right — as we’ve done here with your replacement.

We’re also taking steps to improve the experience in Western Canada. As of June 2026, we plan to open a distribution centre in Vancouver, which will help shorten transit times and reduce the risk of delays like this in the future.

We’re continuing to review this situation with our carrier partners as well to help prevent this from happening again.

I completely understand how disappointing this must have been, especially with your order intended for Easter dinner.

I reached out yesterday as soon as we were notified of the delay, but I truly wish we had been able to get it to you in time for your plans. Unfortunately, the shipment missed its connection from Vancouver to Victoria due to an air carrier delay, which pushed delivery beyond the holiday window as all couriers are not operating today due to Good Friday.

While we can’t guarantee delivery timelines due to factors like air transit and weather, we do stand behind the quality of every order. If anything arrives less than perfect, we will always make it right — and we’d be more than happy to take care of you here as well.

We’re also actively working on improving this. As of June 2026, we plan to open a distribution centre in Vancouver, which will significantly reduce transit times and help prevent situations like this for our West Coast customers.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, we really appreciate it.

The Premium Solo Catch is designed a bit differently from the regular box. It includes more premium items like lobster, smoked salmon, and Atlantic scallops, which naturally brings the price up but also changes the portion mix.

The regular Solo Catch, on the other hand, is built to offer more servings at a lower overall cost, with a different balance of products.

That said, we understand how portion expectations can vary, and your feedback is really helpful as we continue refining how we present and structure these boxes.
