I first discovered Larry’s Catch on Dragons Den back in 2025 and decided to give them a try in January 2026. Three large orders later, I am officially hooked! By spending over $150 to hit the free shipping threshold, I’ve been able to work my way through almost their entire catalogue, and I can honestly say that every single fish product I have tried is absolute perfection in both texture and taste. Out of everything I've tried, my personal standouts and absolute favorites include: Haddock, Cod, Halibut, and Wild Pickerel are clean, tender, and cook up flawlessly. The Atlantic Scallops are sweet and succulent, while the Crab Cakes, Cod & Potato Cakes, and Chowder Mix make quick, restaurant-quality meals at home. Their delivery service is nothing short of amazing—I place an order one day, and it arrives right at my door the very next day, exactly as promised, kept well frozen with the dry ice packs. I also love the simple recipes they publish on their website; they take all the guesswork out of preparation and really let the natural quality of the seafood shine through. Is it worth the price compared to store-bought fresh fish? I am someone who constantly evaluates value for money. There's no hiding that Larry’s Catch is more expensive than buying fresh-caught fish from high-end grocery counters. However, when friends ask me what makes Larry’s so much better, it comes down to two main things: sourcing transparency and flash-freezing technology. In my research I have found that some grocery stores have a great wild-caught seafood counter, however, I never know how many days the fish has been sitting on ice during transit, steadily losing flavour & texture. Larry’s Catch, on the other hand, clearly states on their website that they source wild-caught seafood directly from independent Canadian fishing families and flash-freezes it right at the source. This locks in the "just-caught" taste and delicate texture immediately. You truly get what you pay for. If you appreciate top-tier seafood, supporting Canadian fisheries, and getting flawless delivery every single time, Larry's Catch is worth every cent.

During this political clash with the US we especially love that it’s a Canadian company that does not use US suppliers. Will not purchase seafood in a grocery store ever again!
