The LP1 Pro is a great addition to my…
The LP1 Pro is a great addition to my shop. I use it to make leather embossing dies out of small maple blocks. It takes a dozen passes to get it deep enough, but it is very precise, takes up almost no room and does not require me to move my computer to the shop. I use it with my phone and iPad.
The Bluetooth link is quick and reliable even on iOS devices (competitor lasers have trouble with iOS Bluetooth implementation).
The intended APP for the LP1 is the LaserPecker APP. It only has a few ClipArt items and very limited editing capability, but it does do g-code. I create my artwork on a PC in advance so I dont need much editing. I also use the unintended LaserPecker Design Space occasionally to get more ClipArt items, banners and curved text with work arounds to get it to etch properly with this app. I really wish they would port some of the features to the original LaserPecker APP, and this would make the. Lp1/LP1 Pro 5/5 stars.

The power pack does not work

They claim to work with light burn, not the case.
Don’t trust the LDS program you are basically forced to download to use the laser not even 3 burns in and it crashed a brand new computer only used for the laser.. luckily was able to get it to reset but not off to a great start.
If you do end up buying this I recommend a chair as well because it is slow AF
