Had a really bad experience
Had a really bad experience. I got a bed as a gift. I checked it out the day before at friend’s property and I took some measurements and realised it wouldn’t fit in my car so I decided to try to use this service to have the bed disassembled and brought over to my house.
I also had a couple of box shaped wooden containers which I could have just brought in my car. Since they were taking a van I thought I might as well have them bring that too
Bed wasn’t fully disassembled which is fine but one of the parts that was disassembled was broken. It looks like the person who tried to disassemble it simply ripped the screws off the bed making it unstable.
So I was left without a bed and I paid for a service that was basically useless.
When I tried to discuss the situation the resolution they offered me was 50-75% of the amount I paid. This didn’t seem fair to me because technically I was left negative in terms of the things I paid for. In other words I had to purchase a brand new bed on top of this delivery service.
So I said I would at the very least settle for a full refund on the service. It took a week of constant messaging and then telling me they’d consider it only for them to turn around and tell me they were going to repair the bed and that they would bring it to me at the end of the following week. By that point I’d already bought a brand new bed.
By that point trying to get the money back turned into more hassle than it was worth and I told them to keep the money. More than week to sort something out with only a couple of responses per day only when I chased is just too much.
In summary I’m down the cost of the bed and what I paid for this delivery. Thanks for waste of time and money.
They claim to have 5 star reviews from trustpilot but I don’t see any.
