Movility Vehicle Subscription created default. I got the bill
I subscribed to a Movility vehicle subscription in Phoenix, AZ for the purpose of driving for Uber, which was my source of income.
After I fell approximately one week behind on my subscription payment, Movility suspended my access to the Uber platform — cutting off the very income I needed to pay them. I could not pay the bill because they cut me off from my work. With no way to earn, the past-due balance grew, and the vehicle was eventually repossessed.
On October 2, 2026, Movility billed me $1,514.78: $1,026.00 in overdue subscription charges, a $250.00 repossession fee, plus Arizona taxes and surcharges. The charge was declined on my card.
Movility created the default it is now charging me for. It removed my ability to earn one week into a late payment, then repossessed the vehicle and billed me for the outcome.
Desired resolution: I am asking Movility to take responsibility for a policy that made it impossible for me to pay — suspending my income for a late payment, for a program whose entire purpose is driving for income — and to make this right with a resolution that fully reflects their role in how this played out. Movility is a great program EXCEPT FOR THIS ONE POLICY. Don't remove access to a customers paycheck if you'd like a piece if it. Common sense.
