How LawFairy helped me get out of trouble

LawFairy genuinely changed the course of things for my family. The short version: I'm from Europe, my wife is British, and we have a baby. I'd hired an adviser and assumed that was enough, only to find out months and a lot of money later that my entire visa application had been built on the wrong type of visa, leaving me facing a refusal and the risk of becoming an overstayer.
I found LawFairy almost by chance. I entered my situation into their online assessment and finally got a clear explanation of what had gone wrong and which route I should have been on, with the reasoning laid out so I actually understood it. It then connected me with a specialist immigration solicitor who took the corrected application forward and caught several more issues the previous adviser had left behind.
I don't say this lightly: they turned the most stressful period of our lives into something manageable. If you feel out of your depth with UK immigration, start here.

Great platform

I have used LawFairy across a range of immigration matters, including Skilled Worker, sponsor licence and family visa cases, and I have been genuinely impressed by the quality of the analysis.
What makes the tool particularly strong is its ability to quickly identify the correct legal route while also flagging the practical and legal issues that need to be considered. In Skilled Worker and sponsor licence matters, it has significantly reduced the more arduous parts of the process, particularly where there are multiple eligibility points, evidential requirements and compliance considerations to work through.

I also found it extremely helpful in a family visa matter. It was able to identify the correct visa route quickly, but more importantly, it highlighted the potential challenges that could arise. That is where the tool adds real value. It does not simply produce a surface-level answer; it helps focus the legal analysis and identify the issues that require professional judgement.

As a solicitor, I found this especially useful because immigration work often requires both speed and precision. LawFairy assists with the initial legal mapping in a clear and structured way, while still leaving room for the adviser to consider strategy, risk and the client’s particular circumstances.

Overall, I consider LawFairy to be an impressive and practical tool for immigration practitioners. It is efficient, easy to use and legally robust. It has the potential to save considerable time while improving the clarity and consistency of immigration case analysis.

The technology actually holds up under scrutiny

I came to LawFairy as a practising immigration solicitor, not as a typical client. I wanted to test how it performed across some of the more technical routes I deal with day to day.
The consistency impressed me. The same question gets the same answer every time, with the reasoning tied directly to the relevant rule. In a field where AI tools are notorious for producing confident but wrong answers, that is a meaningful difference.
It is not trying to do everything. It handles eligibility analysis within a defined scope and it does that well. For anyone trying to understand whether they qualify for a particular immigration route before spending money on legal advice, this is a genuinely useful starting point.
Built carefully, works as described. Worth knowing about.
