NEVER EVER USE THIS FIRM
NEVER EVER USE THIS FIRM. I wish I could give them negative stars. They've dragged our simple conveyancing issue for over a year. They have no solicitors of their own and only use Freelancers who care not one bit about your case, will leave any second, leaving you hanging without any handover notes to the next solicitor. We've suffered thousands of pounds of losses because of them. For our sale, they took our money, did the work then 7 months later "reviewed" the file and said they couldn't represent us after all and that we should go find other solicitors...WHAT. Honestly, the worst service I have ever seen or received. I have made an official complaint and will be taking them to the Ombudsman.

Incompetent is an understatement
Incompetent
I strongly advise anyone considering Law Hive Legal to look elsewhere. What should have been a straightforward five-week Transfer of Equity has dragged on for over six months, causing an immense amount of stress and unacceptable delays for both myself and the other party involved.
Their internal operation is a complete mess. They appear to have lost a massive number of staff, leaving them entirely non-responsive for long stretches. Shockingly, I repeatedly found myself having to guide them on the process using legal information I had to research myself via ChatGPT and Gemini. You should not have to project-manage your own legal team.
They are simply not worth a single penny. Given the sheer incompetence and lack of basic communication I experienced, I genuinely question the sincerity of any five-star reviews for this firm. Save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs.

DO NOT USE!!!
DO NOT USE!!!! I had two solicitors working on cases for me. One was doing a property transfer and the other was completing a deed on a property of mine. First was unresponsive and was getting me to submit the same stuff over and over, over a period of 4 months and still did nothing, nearly lost me a house I was buying!!!
Second was dealing with a deed on a property, got me to send more money to them to do some extra work to be able to complete the initial job, the a week later closed my case without doing any of the work and no contact to explain why.
KEEP YOUR MONEY AND USE A HIGHSTREET SOLICITOR

Landlord dispute tenancy deposit help
I had a dispute with my landlord about tenancy deposit and negligence around maintaining the property. I had no idea what I was doing and so sought help from Lawhive.
I collated the 50 pages allowed and the person assigned to my case organised a phonecall. He made it obvious he had not read my documents after 10 minutes into the phonecall he asked me if I was the landlord. Ended up making me cry out of frustration. The next day he quit my case.
When I was reassigned Sarah she was amazing. Took me throughout all the steps and assured me I had a case and helped me write a statement and understand what documents I needed to submit to the TDS dispute service.
I ended up winning the majority of the deposit back. Even thought I lost some of that amount to Lawhive fees, I probably would've given up trying to dispute the amount without Sarah's help.
Extremely Poor Experience and don't use them…
I have been working on my conveyancing service with Lawhive for over a year now and still have not completed and got my first property. They are also very poor with communication. They cannot represent lenders but equally communicating poorly with their sister company Woodstock. Would definitely avoid this company for any conveyancing or other legal services.

Positive experience finalising divorce
I had a positive experience using Lawhive to get my divorce over the line. My solicitor, Yuliya was professional, approachable and helpful, and the process was straightforward from start to finish. Although an online service cannot quite offer the same personal feel as a local high street firm, I found the convenience and efficiency to be real advantages. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service provided.
Substandard and unprofessional
We had a very simple job ("read our 1-page conveyance document and tell us what it says") and it's surprising that it ended up being so stressful. This was mostly down to poor and unfriendly communication from our assigned solicitor, whom we have the courtesy not to name. She also thought an email counted as a reasonable format for formal written advice we could share with other interested parties and we had to press her for something more professional. There were also unnecessary delays in the Lawhive onboarding process. A job that we were told would take 10-14 days to complete took almost a month. And while we're aware that solicitors' fees always seem excessive to those outside the profession, the quality of the work made it especially galling in this case. We seem to have paid £350 for our solicitor to quiz ChatGPT on basic points of law over a 15-minute phonecall with us and then copy-paste the responses into an email. We've had far better experiences with conventional solicitor firms and I can't see us ever returning to Lawhive again.

Brilliant support from Legal specialist, Ella
Ella was a superstar in helping to answer my questions and get things off the ground.
Infinite patience and extremely helpful, I am grateful to have had such a great level of support while trying to figure out if this was the right service to use. Thanks!
Great service
Great service! The process was smooth and easy. Salim Chaudhry handled everything very well.
Poor Communication.
As an agent on the end of Lawhive, we had numerous difficulties in communication with the acting conveyancer. 5+ weeks for the DCP to be sent, at 13+ weeks no enquiries were raised and understandably caused considerable stress to a chain throughout the duration, and though the support email says they will respond within 48 hours... I had no communication back from an email I sent in March 2026.
Now the property has completed, we have not received payment of our invoice, dated 9th July 2026, despite reminders and chasing.
Due to the complete lack of communication, we will be notifying the SRA.

Very good and beyond our expectations
Very good and beyond our expectations. Also quick and reliable. We definitely recommend Lawhive which is the best.
Very helpful and patient
Very helpful and patient. Responded to my requests. Communicated everything and kept me updated.
Used Lawhive for the first time
Used Lawhive for the first time. I had Luke triage my request after making the call who was brilliant. Assigned a solicitor - Tatenda who swiftly who looked over the evidence and received a response to my query within the specified timeframe. Tatenda responded to any messages and would recommend him.
Watched my back as far as possible.
Under the circumstances and everything being against me, including luck, together with British Gas wrongfully giving me a poor credit score and the law not catering for people left to care for their parents alone, things could have turned out a lot worse. As it was, Nichola Gordon-Jones was a friend to me and she watched my back as far as possible in this unique situation. Also, the little things like checking documents for me has saved me a lot of time and headache, much appreciated. Thank you.
Would not recommend this firm
Would not recommend this firm, with regards to our experience. Totally incompetent. Very lacsadaical. I won't continue. There isn't more I can say without being controversial but honest. They know by the case number who I'm talking about. Informed us at the very last stages we needed an executor account. Had this been done at the beginning. The house sale funds would have been released by lawhiive on the the completion date and not almost 6 weeks later

Yuliya was amazing throughout the application of a consent order
Yuliya was very supportive and understanding throughout the whole process of the financial consent order. She went above and beyond, and I’m very appreciative of her time and speediness of application. Thank you Yuliya.
The initial interview was very good…
The initial interview was very good with lots of info and a solicitor was arranged quite quickly. The quote was very acceptable too. The solution took a long time but only because of the nature of our case and one of the family living abroad.
