Wellingtons that aren't waterproof...

I saw the pink ankle wellingtons in a garden centre and loved the look of them, I put them on my Christmas list and opened them up Christmas Day. I had been loving them but less than two months later and my boots filled with water! This shocked me as they are wellingtons... meant to be waterproof! But instead, my feet were soaked, and the cold water was inside. I tipped them upside down and water was pouring out from the seam between the black sole and the pink welly. Really gutted as they look gorgeous but just if a welly isnt waterproof... whats the point? Still waiting to hear back from Lazy Dogz as my Mum had bought direct with them but who knows what they will say...

If you want dry feet don't touch with a barge pole

The boots are lovely to look at and comfortable to wear, and initially I was so delighted with them I ordered a second pair. However after less than two months wear the first pair started to leak - unfortunately I bought them on a day out, and Lazy Dogz haven't responded to my email. I then started to wear the second pair, and again my feet were wet after only three weeks this time.
If you want a pair of nice looking wellies great, but if you want dry feet don't touch with a barge pole

Lasted less than a year

I bought a pair of green short wellies. They were really comfortable and waterproof. However I haven’t had them a year yet and the pull on the back has ripped off and they now leak from the sole. Very disappointed. I expected more for the amount spent on them.

Best boots ever

I bought a pair in Falmouth. Ware to football and rugby matches. Keep my feet warm and dry. And are very comfortable. Would definitely highly recommend

Purchased a pair of lazy dogz green…

Purchased a pair of lazy dogz green short Wellingtons from a local garden centre. Absolutely loved them. They were comfortable, stylish and easy to take on and off. Six weeks in the base of shoe has collapsed into the heel and the seam at the back has split. Returned to store as advised by Lazy Dogz and they advised they wouldn’t be restocking as they’d had a number of pairs returned with same issue. Full refund issues but really disappointed as these looked so promising at first. Tried Barbour and similar issue although they lasted a little longer than 6 weeks.

These are amazing

I ordered 2 pairs of Lazy Dogz Rebel toepost sandals. I have really bad over pronation and have had such problems with u dropped arches. These are just amazing. Took me a few days to bed in. They are sooooo comfortable and my knee problem has eased a lot. Have thrown away ALL my other toe posts. Will buy more next year, wish I had bought these years ago. Thank you

LazyDogz - Distance Selling issue.

I purchased a pair of men's slippers in September this year. The slippers looked fine, but when wearing them, one foot was sliding off the slipper's narrow sole - the sole was too narrow for me, and for support, the slipper sides are not as rigid as a shoe.

Because the slippers were not suitable, I contacted LazyDogz about returning them and they pointed me to their web site, which stated that the customer was responsible for return postage of their goods.

I returned the slippers for a refund, which cost me £2.90p, pretty expensive just to try on a pair of slippers! After about ten days there was no communication or refund from LazyDogz so I emailed them, they replied saying "The delay was due to the very poor state the slippers were returned to us i.e. All the packaging ripped". They also stated that if the slippers had not been suitable for resale, no refund would have been given.

I replied saying that I returned their slippers in packaging that was far more secure than their packaging that I received them in - I eventually received a refund for cost of the slippers, but it has cost me for trying them on and all the hassle of returning them, chasing the company and writing this review.

This is just one of the problems of 'Distance Selling' with some companies!
