Insomniacs.

Why do us insomniacs, have to listen to your worst presenters, in the early hours of the morning. Spur and Payne are terrible, their constant drivel and choice of subjects are pathetic. Please let's have Clive Bull on every night and not just at weekends, he is brilliant.

As a long time listener to LBC

As a long time listener to LBC, I have my daily routine like most others I suppose. In the wee hours I would occasionally listen to Steve Allen, but since he was let go, Ian Payne was a good, if slightly less controversial replacement.
Nick Ferrari is a favourite, very fair, could interrupt a little less, perhaps (“only to let in more listeners”) - but off goes the radio at 10am as James O’Brien starts with his predictable daily obsessions - brexit (yawn) and anything Tory (more yawns), and of course general distaste of most things British, which is a pity, because I’m sure some subjects are fairly treated but lost in the general distaste for his pet hates.
As for news breaks - four an hour? Two at the most would be ample.
The evening I’ll listen on and off to Tom Swawbrick, (who isn’t as amusing as he seems to think he is) while doing dinner.
Nick Abbott at the weekend? Very quirky and accompanied by a recorded cartoon voice for every occasion - does he sit there with his hands hovering over a keyboard? Don’t ring him if you’re easily offended, he’s not paid to take you seriously, consequently nutters tend to ring up in droves. James whale had a similar effect on other channels over the years.
As for being offensive, Matthew Wright can be particularly, in my opinion, if disagreed with he tends to belittle and talk over people before swiftly passing on to the next caller.
Hopefully the channel won’t be tackling any anti gambling topics any time soon as they regularly promote it with those cheesy adverts featuring ‘arry, the lovable cockney, only too willing to get you started! (“but be careful, take a day off now and then.”)
Vanessa Feltz joined a few days after she jumped the sinking TalkTv ship.
Hopefully she’ll let others get a word in, and take less time off than she did on Talk.
Best and most fair presenter with the minimum of interruptions? Paul Brand must be up there.
Incidentally, Nick tells us at 6.45am that he’s back at 7 each weekday morning using the recording they used after the Xmas holidays a couple of years back, but now it’s used every day! Enough! We know he’s coming!

LBC presenters Ian Dale and Nick…

LBC presenters Ian Dale and Nick Ferrari are both associates of the Israeli Govt connected and part funded Community security Trust. Hence the promotion of the Israeli government hasbara narrative from both. This is in clear breach of OFCOM regulations.

I want to be as fair as possible

I want to be as fair as possible, as I've listened to several presenters now for almost three years.
I absolutely understand why Nick Ferrari and Tom Swarbrick have the drivetime slots as they stand out head and shoulders above the rest.
I sit on the political fence and have no sway, as in my opinion, they're all as useless and narcisisstic as each other, however it's clear Kier Starmer is too weak to lead the U.K. I much prefer Rayner.
As I don't have a sway, I feel my review is fair when I say that LBC has gone way off course and now leans completely to the left, when we should be having a 50/50 of both sides. I already held this opinion, but getting into my car Sunday evening and hearing Carol Vorderman as a new host - well - I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Olly Dugmore was a step too far, but now this! It's too unbelievable! It's the radios answer to BBC1!
When the Daily Mirror broke about Johnson holding parties, I was heartbroken, as anyone that worked through the pandemic, lost a loved one, or simply abided by the draconian rules would have been. It's hard enough to trust them at the top, without this on top. As angry as I was, it was covered fairly by everyone apart from James O'Brian. He must have thought all of his Christmases came at once and just revelled in the upset of the callers as another stick to beat the Tories. He didn't genuinely care that people were upset and it came across as such. His ranting made me more upset than I already was. It was then my Husband said to me "Ever since you've been listening to LBC, you have become so miserable and negative." He was right!
I'm in a job where I can have it on in the background whilst I work, so I started to turn off at 10:00 as soon as Nick Ferrari finished.
I drive home listening to Tom Swarbrick, however on the odd occasion, I'll turn it on to see who is on if I have a long drive.
I work long hours so used to love listening to Steve Allen, and was extremely disappointed when he went. You don't have to agree with everything presenters say to enjoy their show. But there's only so many times you can listen to the word "Brexit" from O'Brian. I honestly don't know how he's still in a job there, as he never offers anything new or different to his three long hours.
They seem to have replaced Allen with Ian Payne, whose voice is so dreary and dull and never, ever has anything interesting to say. He even makes the front pages sound dull.
Please LBC, go back to be "down the middle", as you have turned into a completely left leaning channel and I for one am really sad about this. Who are you getting on next, Gary Linekar?
It's so easy for the wealthy to turn into champagne socialists, but when us usual folk work all the hours god sends and pay all our duties, perhaps we don't want £6M a day being spent on "illegal" immigration - especially when we already have a housing crisis.
My two stars are for Nick Ferrari and Tom Swarbrick - definitely not the people at the top making really bad decisions about who their presenters are.

this station is like listening to…

this station is like listening to someone repeat the same conversation again and again and again. I know Steve Allen used to rabbit on about somethings that I didn't agree with sometimes, but at least he had a sense of humour, everybody that is on this radio station now a days are so dull to listen to and they always seem to talk about the same thing, like if you hear one of them talk about shoplifting, then when another presenter comes on the radio to do there show then its just another 3 hours of the same thing that the presenter before spoke about. glad there is a tuning button on my radio so I don't have to listen this depressing station anymore.

Have to keep turning radio down while listening to LBC due to repetitive adverts.
The latest that's really doing my nut at the moment is the Samsung one where they talk about 10 happy puppies on a trampoline.
This advert is played every half hour.
James o brien also gets on my nerves, somehow always squeezing Brexit into the conversation. Come on mate the vote was 6 years ago.... how he manages to do this every show 5 days a week for years is beyond me.
Tom Swarbrick isn't much better
Please LBC needs another Steve

They must have a very small fan base

They must have a very small fan base, it's always the same people ring in with comments, and if someone disagrees with there clap trap there rapidly and rudely dispatch, and in the case of Nick Abbott with silly sound bits to follow.
But in all honesty i find most of the presenter's big mouth no it all's,the only one i can listen to is Clive Bull and that's because he's not a rude know it all.

I’ve been listening to this station for…20 years or so

I’ve been listening to this station for many many years on the way to work and on the way back was my best radio station ever but with a big big but after 7 October with the war between Israel and Gaza as a British Muslim born in London and the news being covered by all Lbc presenters sounds like a one-way conversation when anything is said against Israeli government , and the way they are handling the war in Gaza , the presenter sounds very defensive . Keep saying what about hamas well I fully condemn what Hamas has done and the loss of civilian life in Israel now that does not give any excuse in the name of Hamas to go bomb innocent civilians women and children old and sick babies and on top calling out for the release of all hostages which the idf army probably bombed and killed in Gaza the blatant war crimes genocide kidnapping of Palestinian children without charges and thrown in Israeli jails left to rot ever spoken about this the presenters just cut the people off the radio so much fake news no proven track record and last of all have humanity for the children of Gaza the children of Israel this news is dividing people of the uk and uk never stood for this this is not what uk stands for one life killed is one life to many so stop listen think and speak before taking any side thank you piece and love ❤️

Ollie Dugdale is just awful

Ollie Dugdale is just awful. So righteous. Does not accept the police covered up the Rotherham child abuse claims because of fears of upsetting a certain section of the population. Cannot criticise him enough. please bring back Ali Moraj for a balanced view of events. Will not listen to LBC when Ollie Dugdale is on, ever.
