Competitive Price…

I chose to use LEAD Conveyancing for the sale of my property on the recommendation of a friend. Their services were competitively priced and the electronic processes made the entire property transaction, from the online quote to settlement, stress free. From the moment I engaged their services, their promptness and responsiveness were remarkable. I was incredibly grateful for the outstanding service provided by my conveyancers, Kenneth and Fels. From start to finish, they responded in a timely and professional manner leading to a hassle-free settlement.

Absolute worst experience

Absolute worst experience!
NOT Based in Australia as far as I can ascertain.
Conveyancer did not present our Settlement date, although they confirmed multiple times via email that it was agreed to by the vendor!
Lack of communication, missed deadline, misrepresentation.
We have lodged a complaint and claim against the company.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Lead Conveyancing - doing things differently and better!

I had the pleasure of dealing with Ivan as my conveyancer during the purchase of my home earlier this year and I cannot recommend him highly enough! He communicated proactively throughout the process and made me feel at ease, which was not easy as I had committed to a 30 day settlement.
The team at Lead Conveyancing are professional, fast, experienced and friendly. You can see they are all specialists in their roles.
The setup is perfect, processes work and customer experience is at the forefront of everything they do.
They are a breath of fresh air in this space!

Glad we gave Lead Conveyancing a go.

Throughout the sales process Lead was always available and very prompt with communications. Our experience with the buyers and the buyers solicitors was stressful at times with delays and some weird takes on the property, Lead (Menard) was there for us and acted in out best jnterest.

Not recommended - very poor experience all round

The experience with Lead Conveancing Loganholme was marked by poor communication and misinformation, with staff not available (especially the lawyer with carriage of the file) when needed. The paralegal assigned to the file was allocated too many files to be of any assistance to mine. She spelled my name wrong four times in separate emails, routinely provided false information and was rarely available to answer any questions I had. Terrible experience all round.

Unethical and intimidating conduct

Unethical and intimidating conduct — beware.
I requested an online quote from Lead Conveyancing but clearly stated by email that I had not engaged them to act for me. No costs agreement was signed and no work was authorised. Despite this, they’ve continued sending invoices — including “termination fees” — for services that were never provided.
Now I’m receiving repeated invoices under the same number with new descriptions and warnings about late fees, even though I never hired them. Attempts to call the 1800 number reach an offshore call centre that cannot connect you with anyone in Australia.
This company presents itself as an Australian legal firm, but there’s no way to speak to a licensed conveyancer or manager locally. It feels misleading, unethical, and intimidating.
I’ve lodged a complaint with the Queensland Legal Services Commission and strongly urge others to read reviews before engaging this business.
EDIT TO RESPONSE TO LEAD.....Updated Reply

Thank you for your response.

I would like to clarify again that I did not engage your firm to act on my behalf.
No costs agreement was ever signed, no authority to act was given, and no conveyancing work was requested or authorised by me at any stage.

The property contract was terminated by the vendor on 22 October 2025. I notified your office on 22 October and again on 24 October that I would not be proceeding and would not be engaging your services. Despite this even though there was no retainer in place and no legal advice or work was provided to me.
Additionally, Lead Conveyancing recently emailed me stating that the fees would be waived only if I removed my review, which I found highly inappropriate and concerning.
Your statement that I “accepted the quote” is incorrect. Requesting or receiving a quote is not a legally binding engagement, and in the absence of a signed costs agreement or instructions to proceed, no retainer existed.
At this stage, my position remains unchanged:
I do not owe your firm any fees, and I request written confirmation that all invoices have been withdrawn and that no further invoices will be issued.
I will not be discussing this by phone, as I require a written record of all communication.
Please respond in writing confirming this matter is closed.

Hi Tamri,

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

We have reviewed your feedback and understand how this situation may have caused frustration. As previously communicated via email, our invoice is generated once the initial works are completed. We also note that you initially confirmed acceptance of our quote. Upon further review, it appears that you decided not to proceed with the contract, meaning no further engagement was required.

Please note that we made several attempts to reach you to provide legal advice and ensure that you were released from any potential liabilities, but unfortunately, we were unable to make contact. We also confirm that no payment was made to our firm.

Contrary to your advice, our main phone lines are operational, and you may request to speak directly with a member of our leadership team regarding your matter.

We’d be happy to personally discuss your concerns and provide further clarity. Please contact our team at feedback@leadconveyancing.com.au
or call us directly on 1300 138 045.

Heather, the conveyancer, retained $1,000 because they failed to organize a water meter reading for the settlement on October 23. We still don't have the remaining $600.00 returned to us, and now it is November 3.

I’m very grateful for the support from LEAD Conveyancing and would definitely recommend them! 🙏😊

A special thanks to Tracy, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. As this was our first property purchase, we naturally had a lot of questions and felt a bit stressed at the beginning.

But Tracy was always calm, patient, and extremely helpful. She answered every call and explained everything clearly, step by step, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.

Thanks again to LEAD Conveyancing for making our first home-buying journey so easy!
