I recently completed 2 housing…

I recently completed 2 housing transactions with Rhianna and Dilara, at Leadenhall on Gracechurch St, and can not speak more highly of them. Professional, diligent, and always working toward a solution during some challenging and unique circumstances. When we pushed toward to contract exchange and then completion they prepared ahead of time with all the necessary documentation to ensure the final stages ran smoothly and efficiently. If you want someone who is always in your corner, working in your best interest, Rhianna is the one you need.

Fast, smooth and professional buying first house

Purchasing our house with Leadenhall Law Group as solicitors was an impressively fast, smooth and professional experience.
Firstly, technologically, their online/portal hub made it easy for document management rather than getting lost in emails.
Secondly, it's important we share our gratitude to the amazing work from our assigned solicitor Rhianna Taylor and paralegal Dilara Boran. Always prompt on response, informative and patient with us. We were also exchanging/closing over the winter break and the preparation for that period ensured everything was as smooth as could be.
We really enjoyed working with them both to buy our first house and it couldn't have gone better!

A disappointing experience

A disappointing experience. We used the conveyancing service, at the eleventh hour they requested additional information which we couldn't immediately provide and so they held our money until the following day. They seemed oblivious to any problems or inconvenience this could have created. As a customer, their organisation seems to be disjointed and lacking customer focus, and whilst they are pleasant enough to deal with, Im not sure they understand urgency, accuracy or customer expectations. The experience left us feeling like we needed to check and double-check all aspects of their work, I couldnt recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely amazing!!

From start to finish through our house sale and purchase, Birgul was absolutely amazing. Constant updates, always answered the phone and replied to our e-mails. Birgul was really supportive and helped us understand everything we were unsure of - nothing was too much trouble. Our whole process was so smooth and easy.
Thank you so much Birgul for all of your help and everything you did for us! You are absolutely outstanding! Would only ever use Leadenhall Law Group in the future.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking, We have used Leadenhall law group in the past but had a different team on our case and they was amazing. Unfortunately I ended up with Michael McNally’s team This time around, The service was terrible, after completing there is still problems, I’m still yet to hear Michael’s voice As he is impossible to get hold of, He lost lots of our money that we then had to find Ourselves, He never actually finished the job we still have Service charge accounts open in the old flat that we sold that should have been completed, He overpaid the estate agents by £500, I would honestly avoid all costs, There is still problems seven months down the line. Save yourself a massive headache and avoid this firm.

Clear Communication and Great Service from Start to Finish

We had a great experience with Leadenhall Law Group throughout our home purchase. The entire process was handled smoothly, professionally, and with clear communication at every stage.
A special mention to Johnny, who was outstanding. He was always responsive, calm, and very clear in explaining each step, which made a stressful process feel much more manageable. He stayed on top of everything, coordinated efficiently with all parties, and ensured completion went through without any last-minute issues.
It’s rare to find solicitors who are both efficient and genuinely reassuring, but Johnny delivered on both. We felt well supported from start to finish.
Highly recommend Leadenhall Law Group, and especially Johnny, to anyone looking for a reliable and professional conveyancing experience.

Excellent Conveyancing from Delke and Alpa

My conveyancing process was far from standard due to the nature of the property and the additional complexities around shared ownership, the Building Safety Act, and ongoing remediation. Despite this, Leadenhall handled everything extremely well.

Both Delke and Alpa provided an excellent service throughout. They were consistently diligent, calm, and professional, even when the process required extra attention and careful handling. Their approach gave me confidence at every stage.

I was kept well informed from start to finish, with clear updates and explanations whenever something needed attention. The communication was reliable and the advice was always practical and well grounded.

I’m hugely grateful for all the hard work that went into progressing this conveyancing, and I would have no hesitation recommending Leadenhall. Well done to Delke and Alpa - your efforts made a challenging process much more manageable, and I’m very appreciative of the support you provided.

Wish we'd picked a different firm

Envious of all the people who've had good experiences, since we did not. We were told someone with many years of experience and lots of great reviews was going to be handling our house sale, but instead we got an unqualified trainee he managed who seemed to also be left unsupervised.

Ultimately our house sale fell through following communications from Leadenhall to our buyers conveyancers telling them we weren't willing to provide a particular report (didn't mention it was because we would have to pay hundreds of avoidable pounds to get it any sooner, or labour the point that us paying for it at all was doing a huge favour to the buyers who should have been paying for it themselves) and while our buyers did have some bizarre and unrealistic expectations of their purchase process, they weren't helped by our representative at leadenhall seemingly having no idea about parts of the process either.

The day Leadenhall emailed us asking if we knew if we needed a building regs certificate for something they'd been telling us for weeks we absolutely had to provide it for was a big alarm bell, followed by us finding out via Google that it was not possible to get one for the works in question as they were so minor - and the realisation we'd agreed to pay for an indemnity policy for something that didn't actually need it. You think you're paying for expert support and this is what you get.

We were sent template documents that hadn't been edited to make them relevant to our specific sale, told that failure to provide documents quickly that we couldn't possibly complete yet was going to hold up our sale, and our representative overlooked important details like a building regs certificate and an electrical safety certificate not being the same or interchangeable things.

Some other friends of ours used Leadenhall and had an entirely different set of people working on their sale and purchase and they spent part of their completion day in the Leadenhall office writing out sums on paper to explain why they didn't owe another £8k before their purchase could complete - that turned out someone at Leadenhall wasn't paying attention and had put an early repayment fee for the mortgage onto their bill even though it didn't apply. Leadenhall had refused to back down on this over the phone, before admitting the mistake when faced with the indisputable details in person. If only this had happened before we signed up to use them rather than after, we might have known better than to trust this lot with something so important

Very much do not recommend. Even paying the initial deposit feels like we've been robbed.

Outstanding support through a tough process

We have had quite a long, protracted sale process for our house which has only been made bearable by Delke's responsiveness, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond. Delke has been patient and calm throughout, helping us to deal with a variety of challenges in the chain, persevering when many wouldn't. Would thoroughly recommend Leadenhall Law Group - very professional and helpful.
