Absolutely fun and engaging. Joe Zieja is a fun and profound entertainer while showing his passionate about teaching voice over. It’s absolutely wonderful and I feel I have a great insight into voiceover more so than any other website. It’s also encouraging its learners to go about and make your career even without having connections or gear. The course is great, Joe Zieja is great, everything is just great with this course.

I will say I’m still in the program and only see progress through this course. It’s done wonders for my confidence and skills. I’ve decided to take it a step further and sign up for the most premium coaching this academy offers because Joe has a proven formula and is a pioneer for the way this industry operates. Pricing for the info and community alone is low for the amount of value you receive from them. If you made it this far you need to know that you have to put in tons of work to see results and I mean Tons. If you want something quick and easy this isn’t it. You have to be willing to give it all you got with the knowledge he provides and make it happen on your own. The great part is the community is always there and always filled with knowledge and others who know what you’re going through as a support system. If you can stick through this review and put your voice to the grind then you won’t regret it

In 2022, I was dabbling in voiceover, not doing anything really serious, nor taking myself or my business seriously. I got tossed a few bucks here and there, but when I signed up for the first cohort of this course in early 2023 (formerly known as JZVAA), I felt an immediate shift. Everything you need to know: how to make a booth, how to make a character, the genres you need to know, the way you find work, and most importantly, keep GETTING work, is here. Thanks to this course, I've gotten so much more opportunity than I would have gotten on my own, including reading for Mattel for A Minecraft Movie figures, and being in Zenless Zone Zero. Give it a go; you won't be disappointed.

One of the few voice acting academies I’ve seen out there that doesn’t charge you a subscription for your base classes to help you succeed, and tries to focus on getting you out into the field as quickly as possible. The videos by Joe Zieja are incredibly helpful and direct so that you can learn such a huge industry in the quickest way possible.

I was able to try it out for a day 7 trial for $1 USD (about $1.37 CAD) and I found that it really was amazing. There was so much information, and it really helped me feel like I could go somewhere in pursuing my life-long passion of voice acting. Joe offers EVERYTHING you need to know (including business, training, and creating characters), and being able to access that information and tips really made me feel motivated and supported in my journey that "hey, you CAN do this!". I'm hoping I can one day buy his full course when I have enough money so I can access these lessons forever and put them to practice. Thank you again, Joe!! You really are inspiring and an amazing person for making this academy.

Learn Voice Acting is an amazing course! The course provided me with so much useful knowledge. I will admit, in the beginning, I was a little skeptical at first. After the first day of review the course material, my mind was blown! I said to myself, "This course is going to change my life!!" The modules are fantastic and the delivery of the information is on point! Thank you to Joe and the Learn Voice Acting Team for an amazing and invaluable course!!

This course was easy to follow when you actually put the time into it. I learned so much that I otherwise would not have been able to do my own research on. This course will definitely be checked back on for resources and tools.

I felt more confident after two days of 4.5 hours learning than I had exploring some other coaching methods, and it really built my confidence hearing about the recommendations that I myself had seen among my searches for voice acting classes, books, sites, etc rather than going at it blind.
The modules are broken down in very easy small bites while still being packed with information and made it both compelling and easy to follow along without getting overwhelmed.

As someone who didn't know where to start and is still beginning, Joe's course has been a phenomenal help in starting my career as a voice actor. His way of explaining the career is very understandable, and it's in bite sized chunks that are straight to the point. 5/5 would recommend again!

It’s actually very comprehensive. And I’m able to understand the coursework very easily. And while I haven’t started out getting voice acting auditions yet due to the fact that I’m not quite ready for that step (I still have a lot of coursework to finish as well as get some other supplies before I’m ready), it’s nice to know that I will have these videos to look on if I forget something or if I need to go back and watch a particular one because I’m unsure if I would be doing something wrong or right. If you are wanting to get into voice acting, but are unsure I would watch the first free video and then gather up your courage and buy the payment plan that’s right for you for it and then when you are ready you can go in and watch the videos and communicate with your fellow voice actors who are just starting out and help get tips from the ones that are getting things.

The level up lab to me is a big game changer as it aligns me to other people who're either in this journey for years or barely just starting out. Either way, this discord-inspired program allows people to come together and help one another to submit that amazing read. Every experiment comes with its own set of challenges allowing you to change tactics in your approach and develop new one's as you're continuously evolving along the VO journey. If you're willing to put in the hard work to be the best you can be then the level up lab is absolutely worth the monthly rate whether it fits your budget or not. I also picked up on the character voice creation program and that too has been very insightful to study up on! So do give it a shot and meet some amazing people right here in the lab!

I had an absolute blast taking this course! It's expanded my career by teaching more of what I needed! The lectures have greatly helped with auditions too!

The Academy has taught me a LOT! it teaches you about being a good human being, about the VA industry, PC hotkeys (really helpful btw) and Joe always talks about keeping things simple, and it just makes your life easier, and you have sooo much fun learning cuz Joe is funny, and you can tell he has fun too, of course life is not without it's struggles, even so, you can still have fun, I defiantly recommend. that's all, God bless ya'll.

I greatly appreciated this course! It was extremely thorough and answered questions I didn't even know I needed to ask. As a newbie to the voice acting industry, I feel so much better prepared to move forward. I'd highly recommend this series to anyone who's serious about growing their voice acting career.

All the lessons were informative. I really learned a lot.

The voice acting academy was well worth the money, the only thing missing was live feedback throughout the course, but there are plenty of additional options like the level up lab, after hours courses, and several others. The course is great to get people started and continue to grow in Voice Over work.
