I am thrilled to share my experience with Joes voice acting academy! This has been instrumental in launching my voice acting career. The hook for JZVAA was that any voice could do it, but it's more than just a nice voice. The modules and videos are an excellent way to jumpstart your career i voice-over. If not for this program, I would have never found the step by step to getting into it. It's the first resource I send those interested in voice-acting to!

Before taking this course, I didn't know the first thing about voice acting. I was especially daunted by the equipment (I am not a very tech-savvy person) and the process of finding work. This course breaks everything down to a very "beginner-friendly" level, including walkthroughs of everything from the mechanical setup/purchasing involved, to how to approach the line-reading and delivery process. It's an all-in-one course and has helped me find many jobs in voice acting for audiobooks, animatics, shorts, fan projects, and more (I have already made hundreds of dollars back in voice acting jobs). From the helpful lessons, to the for-life access, to the connections you get to many other voice acting students and professionals... This course is SO worth it!

They are vary helpful and intractive, the community is also really great. This really has helped not only giving how to do it but the financial and mental of it all

The Voice Acting Academy came to me at the perfect time. I was fresh off a few months of coaching, hopeful to get started... but had no idea how to actually get work. I booked another session with my coach at the time, but we ran out of time before even scratching the surface. JZVAA showed me where to find work, how to audition, and even answered questions I wouldn't need to know until later in my career, like joining SAG-AFTRA (which I was able to handle perfectly because I knew what to do thanks to JZVAA). Awesome course. Joe teaches how to sound good and also shows how to make a career out of voice acting. The lessons are super clear, straight to the point, and has with great industry advice. Joe keeps it fun and honest, breaking down everything from auditions to marketing in a way that makes sense. Whether you’re just starting out or trying to step up your game, this course is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

The base course from LVA is one of the most detailed compilations that I would recommend for anyone interested in starting voice over professionally. As someone with more years under my belt before starting the course, Joe also helped cultivate a mindset that synergizes with the industry and my growing career.

As I also proceed in my VO journey and stumble across new milestones, it's always helpful to go back to the course and hear Joe's opinion on that topic (because the course is just that detailed that he most likely has *something* on it)

Other aspects from LVA that I participated in (COC, PV, and direct marketing) also have incredible quality and attention put into them for their students. LVA and their offerings are great for all levels.

I was one of the first adopters of this course when it fully launched in early 2023, and I can safely say that it kickstarted my career! A full overview of the industry and professional advice that you can always go back and reference when you need it! Joe has put his whole heart into this course, and it shows. I've always wanted to be a voice actor for nearly my whole life, but never really did anything with that dream, telling myself that I didn't know enough or that I wasn't ready or any other kind of excuse. But Joe's course has taught me that the best way to be "ready" is to just DO. Joe gave me a solid understanding of the industry through his series of videos and was able to improve my acting skills very quickly through Pandora’s vox (the last one is optional but highly suggested).

This class, particularly the first module about mindset and motivation, have been life-changing, and not just as a voice actor!!! When I think I can't do something UNTIL ______, I remember what Joe said about "just go!" and I carry on.

I got this course a couple years ago and have gone through it multiple times. It's really good! I studied on the internet for hundreds of hours before hand and got a lot of the same information, but this course is invaluable for putting all the information in one place in a way that is easier to understand with a few extra tips.

Learning Voice over.

Voice over has been a career that I have be passionate about getting into but never gave the time to try. I saw the learn voice acting course pop up more than once but I was scared to take the step. It took me. almost from when the course came out to make a decision. Honestly, it was the best decision I have made it's the most I've learnt and paid attention to in a while, it was fun and interesting. I don't know how else I would have been able to push myself to get started if it weren't for this course.

As a novice to all things voice acting, I found the courses offered to be detailed and exactly the learning I needed. I have joined other courses for different subjects and I found the course modules in this school more 'meat and potatoes' than other courses I've purchased (so, value is there). Joe is also very entertaining and has a charm and humor that comes through on the videos, so you don't fall asleep watching them. I highly recommend the courses here if you want to enter into voice acting.
