Lease Return Center Triangle, VA: Damage Cars, No Transparency

Charlatans. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 sells damaged cars at a premium. This dealer was not willing to compromise or be transparent with the car they were selling. They add $2,000 to $3,000 to the price if you're NOT paying cash.

I inquired about a Mercedes C43 which showed noticeable damage to the rear bumper and interior door panel. They still priced the car at top of market range! Most appallingly, they refused to acknowledge the damage which affects market value.

WARNING: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐅 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐮. Again, prices are based cash. For finance deals, they will increase the price and they profit off the loan.

It took two emails where I pointed out the damage each. David replied via email stating that's just your point of view. That's how unscrupulous these cretins are. When I pressed him further, he said oh you want a discount? Considering it would cost 2K easily to fix the damage, you bet. You will find Mr. Melendez quite arrogant and miserable to deal with.

He told me in an email that they sell 1,200 cars a year (low) and there will be some complaints. More deception. Again, the BBB has graded this dealership with an F for failing to address issues.

I would not buy anything from them without a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) and have resources to sue them if needed.

This dealer is the most obnoxious group of money-hungry, low-IQ, wannabe big-time, irritating individuals I’ve ever had to endure. You will be treated with zero respect and they will attempt to deceive you at every opportunity. Perform your due diligence and proceed at your own risk. Caveat emptor!
