Not the best company but service from Arun was unbelievable
Overall, I wouldn't say the experience was the best with leasys. I never write reviews, but genuinely after a terrible time dealing with the company, I spoke to Arun and I have never in my life from any company received such great customer service. Not once was I rushed, he listened to everything I had to say and sorted out the problems I faced one by one. Extremely calm and very transparent. I've probably sent 35 emails and been ignored and bounced to different people and departments. Arun is geniuenly a great asset to leasys and I'm truly grateful to him for his time and help as it has now taken a lot of stress of my shoulders. I hope you're always recognised Arun!

Leasys Dont Respect Fair Wair and Tear - Be WARNED!!!
Leased an Amarok Pickup truck from August 2024 for 18 months. Kept it immaculate, 1,500 under agreed mileage. There were two fine scratches on the passenger door - disputed as wear and tear on collection. Yet they still charged me. Be warned, there's no pragmatism when it comes down to end of contract. Hence the one star review.
Edit 11/06/2026 (Added the following): After lodging a complaint with their customer service and getting no reply for over a week, I followed up and spoke to Anum, who listened to my complaint. We agreed to halve the charges for the surface scratches as a goodwill gesture. It turned out that they also owed me a refund, so I waited another two weeks and received the adjusted balance. I'm raising my rating to two stars as the team were really nice to deal with, and at least they listened when I eventually got through.

BEWARE!!! Do not use this company they ignore any problems.
BEWARE!!!! Leased a brand new e-c3 aircross from this company and the car arrives missing advertised features. The car WILL NOT allow remote climate control or charge scheduling. Leasys are now ignoring my emails and calls. I have had no choice to escalate to the financial ombudsman. Do not use this company or DreamLease who are the brokers and use Leasys.

Absolute shambles of a company! Customer service is non existent after you sign the contract
Absolute shambles of a company! I also notice that they have a new Trustpilot page, probably due to the amount of 1 star reviews on their other page!
Received and invoice for £234 - £195 + VAT for RFL - car tax! In my T&C's which I signed it states that my car tax is included for the full term of my lease - if the government increase the car tax, I am liable for the difference - fair enough. I received this invoice out of the blue - no explanation and no reason saying they would be debiting this from my account 10 days later. Tried to call - conveniently the phone lines were down - so sent an email to 'operations'. 5 days later, still no response. Called again, three times, as the option I was selecting on the phone for car tax, no one could help me! Someone gave me a number to call, which was exactly the same number I called. Called back and got transferred to some foreign voicemail. Tried again and spoke to someone. They told me they had been a 'financial error' and that I wasn't charged the correct amount of RFL last year - firstly, this was the first I knew as I had just been sent an email and no reason - the guy on the phone said it had happened to a few people and they were sending emails out to explain - I am still yet to receive this email over two weeks later. Next, I get a response to my email saying that, I quote 'Your rental MAY have been based on the previous Road Tax rates and therefore as there has been an increase since, this has been charged' - again the word MAY shows that there is no proof to back this up - and I understand that I have to pay an increase (which is in section 11 of my contract - not section 10 that leasys think it is in) - but that isn't £195 + VAT - last year it was £195 - this year it is £200 - and increase in £5. But we have two different reasons here as to why I have been charged.
I asked for a copy of their complaints procedure and received an email from 'resolutions' which I fill in and returned where in their reply I did receive a copy of their complaints policy. I asked in my resolution for the money not to be taken until this is resolved. Low and behold - today the £234 has been debited from my account! If a financial error was made - that is not my fault - and to receive just an email and no explanation, of why they are taking this money is wrong, but then to get an email saying I MAY of been charged the wrong amount?!?!?
I have explained them that I will take this matter further and to the financial ombudsman and claim compensation. The question is - how many other people have they done this too?
** Edit to Leasys reply on 15/5/26 - not sure who has been contacted as it’s not me! I received a reply to my email last week saying they had received my resolution form and that’s it! I will continue to update my review as and when a resolution is found - or in 7 weeks time when I can escalate to the financial ombudsman which is the most likely scenario. It’s a pity the people replying to the reviews on Trustpilot don’t work in the operations or resolutions team as you seem to be able to respond on here promptly but not to customers queries directly via calls or emails.
**Update 21/5 - still no response from Leasys! Quite happy to take my money on time though. I will NEVER lease another car through this company - their customer service is horrendous. They might have good deals on leasing, but the aftersales very unprofessional.
Update again 27/5 - as expected zero communication from Leasys (expect for the update to their reply below - which is comical really how they can reply to trustpilot but not customers directly). The 4 weeks set out in their complaints policy for them to reply is next Thursday (4/6), will update again then but no doubt they need more time to look into my complaint.
**Update 18/6/25 - as predicted, after 4 weeks received the generic letter saying that they needed more time to investigate. Which is the only correspondence I have received since they acknowledged my complaint. Since then nothing! Waiting for the 8 weeks to be up to take it to the FOS for them to investigate this cowboy company!

Ongoing failure to repair vehicle and lack of support
We have had an extremely poor experience with Leasys regarding a leased vehicle (Peugeot e‑208).
The vehicle developed a major fault in March 2026 (“electric traction system fault”) which rendered it undrivable. It then took several weeks just to get the vehicle booked in for repair due to repeated miscommunication between Leasys, Fleet Assist and the garage. No support offered to help collect the undrivable car we had to call the RAC to arrange this ourselves.
After finally being repaired, the vehicle was returned to us on but upon the 1st collection the car had same issues arise, they took the car back in and the 5 May unfortunately, within very minimal use, the exact same fault reoccurred, confirming the repair had not resolved the issue.
To make matters worse, we have now been advised the next available repair date is 10 July 2026, which is completely unreasonable given this is already a failed repair of the same fault.
Throughout this entire period we have been left without a reliable vehicle, we have continued to make lease payments for an unusable car, incurred over hire vehicle costs - as Leasys dont provide any form of mobility (although leaving you with out any for nearly 3 months is acceptable)
Communication and coordination has been inconsistent and often incorrect. We are effectively paying for a vehicle that has not been properly repaired and cannot be relied upon, with no meaningful support provided.
The issue is not just delays — it is a failure to deliver a working vehicle and manage the situation appropriately.
We currently have an active formal complaint and have escalated this to the BVRLA Conciliation Service.
I would strongly urge anyone considering leasing through Leasys to carefully consider the level of aftercare and support should something go wrong.
Date of 1st negative experience 10/03/26 - ongoing as they don't seem to have the ability to resolve problems
Regards to the below comment, the company hides behind 'We are just a finance company' never with any substance to fix the problem.

Nothing wrong with car or the leasing…
Nothing wrong with car or the leasing procedure. However, not long after lease started a change in circumstances meant that the 8000 miles i was contracted too wasnt going to be enough. So i asked Leasy if i could increase the mileage to 12000 an increase of 4000 for 2 years . Expecting an increase of £30-£40 a month for the 18 months left on my contract , i was amazed that the monthly payment would go from £278 a month to £540 !! How can this be justified? So now i am going to be left with a sizeable bill at the end of the lease.
It would be just as cheap to lease another small runaround.
Very very unhappy
Also, i have leased cars before from other leasing companies and once i had to increase mileage on my Audi A4 and the lease company charged me £15 extra a month !
**** so i have sent you another email on 15th may and heard nothing ****

Avoid - unethical post lease costs
Extremely disappointed with the customer service. Avoid this company. Slapped with all sorts of post lease charges that are unreasonable. Never had this treatment before and used many car leasing company. Unethical way to do business and creating invoices post lease as a way to make money.

Very disappointed with Leasys
Very disappointed with Leasys. My vehicle was returned on 28th April, yet instead of receiving my final settlement statement, I have been sent an RFL invoice and further emails suggesting I still have the car.
This is exactly why I have chosen to leave Leasys. The vehicle itself was excellent, but the administration and customer service have been consistently poor. Basic account management, communication and end-of-contract handling should not be this difficult.
I should not be receiving further charges for a vehicle already returned, especially when your own correspondence states my contract ended on 2nd May.
All I want is an accurate final statement, closure of my account, and for someone from Leasys to contact me urgently to resolve this matter.
7/5/2006 edit following Leasys reply ... i have contacted operations.uk@leasyscom several times - cases have been created and still you dont contact me back!!!!!!

Been left with no car for months after breakdown Leasys not interested
Leased car less than 18 months old, has total electrical failure and dealership is unable to get the part as there is none in the UK, been advised could take months. Parents have been left without a car and have mobility issues. Leasys who are the legal owner of the car want nothing more to do with the issue but still want monthly payment for a car that is unable to be driven for over 4 weeks so far and dealership has no idea when the electrical issue will be resolved as cannot get part.
Leasys have advised that contract will not cover a courtesy car and to take up with dealership who have also advised they can't provide a courtesy car which has left parents housebound. Customer Service is the worse I have ever experienced. Absolutely no help and would not recommend.

Awful experience thus far
Awful experience thus far. Took out a lease with Select Car Leasing who are brokers for Leasys in December.
Car dropped off, my initial payment was never taken. Chased and chased and confirmed it was taken. Set up direct debit for second payment, didn’t go out. Chased and chased again. Was told it was going out on a different date than agreed - it didn’t.
Subsequently no payments going out and it’s been 4 months now. Get a phone call saying there was an issue with the direct debit - sort code digit. It took 4 months to tell me that, despite chasing time and time again and now have a £3000 bill to pay because I had it confirmed that the initial payment had gone out on 15 Feb, when it never has!
I really want to stay with Select Car Leasing at the end of my term but I won’t if I have to take out an agreement with Leasys.

A painful purchase and delivery experience.
I was passed from department to department through out the purchase and delivery service. Contact was sporadic and inefficent at best. The people on the phone were pleasant but limited in their understanding and ability to support requests and issues.
I was told paperwork had been sent to me via a protal and it hadn't, so I was sent an email to print, sign and send back as a PDF. Several attempts to do this later, and one of the many people I was dealing with said that my emails might not be reaching them because sometimes their server rejects the delivery of large files. Why this hadn't been mentioned before I dont know. This lengthened the delivery process, which was a big issue for me. On top of that, I was all set for delivery, had all the confirmation emails and had booked a day off work, only to find out at 4pm (after enquiring at 3pm) that the car was in fact not being delivered on that day but 2 weeks later... I have no idea why because I had specified the date and had this all confirmed by email. Subsequently, I was promised a new delivery date with a full tank of petrol, this didn't happen. The car arrived later than 6pm and dirty. I had to wait a whole 3 weeks before a reimbursement came for my petrol. All I all, an awful experience.

Poor customer service!
I am very happy with my car from Leasys U.K. So much so I extended my lease for another year. I have been a satisfied customer for over 4 years until March 2026.
Unfortunately they took two payments from my bank in one month, a mistake I am sure. I requested the bank to cancel one of the payments which they did..
Leasys then notified the FCA Automotive Services saying I was in arrears?
This of course had a negative affect on my credit score, it plummeted?…..
I spoke to the FCA Automotive about this but they say I have to deal with Leasys direct to get it sorted.
Sent many emails and messages to Leasys no response? Telephone just rings out?
Written to them (old school) still no response.
Sent them copies of my bank statements showing the up to date payments. No response.
On reading the many 1 Star reviews for Leasys I can now understand why I have a problem, but I still love my car!
Now in the hands of the Financial Ombudsman.
