Well that was an experience.

Lee Key Plumbers is the name, and the catch phrase is "If it's Leaky, Call Lee Key Plumbers" - Keep this in mind as you read on.

I contacted Stewart of Lee Key Plumbers on Saturday saying that we had a "leak" and I needed two small sections of pipe replacing. He said he could help and arranged to call round on the following Wednesday morning.

Wednesday came and Stewart arrived. I showed him the "leak", he had a look for a few seconds and then proceeded to come out with every excuse in the book as to why he couldn't fix it.

I was stuck for words (dumbstruck), I mean I thought he was a plumber, and at the end of the day, this should have been a relatively simple job as he states that he has over 28 years experience.

Anyway, after all the excuses, Stewart did give me two pieces of advice that were fantastic.

Firstly, he advised me to call another plumber. (I think he meant to say, call A plumber).

The second piece of advice was to turn the water off to the entire property. (talk about helpful).

After giving this masterful advice, Stewart left the property at a speed that would have impressed Usain Bolt. I'm surprised he didn't leave scorch marks on the carpet.

My partner that was in another room at the time came out, and the first thing she said to me was. "What happened there, it sounded like he couldn't get out the door fast enough".

I almost went looking for cameras. It was like I'd been pranked in some kind of comedy sketch.

I've dealt with quite a few tradesmen over the years for one thing or another, but I've never ever experienced anything like this.

My advice is, if you're looking for a plumber, look elsewhere. Find a real one that can actually do the job.

"If it's Leaky, DON'T Call Lee Key Plumbers"

What a joke.

Zero Stars.
